The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor on works of a similar nature over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for any one year of the last five years. Specifically, the bidder should have carried out a single work of similar nature of work for 80% of Work Value in any one year of the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Single work: 80% - Double works: 50% (each) - Triple works: 40% (each) - Minimum financial turnover: 40% - Minimum value of similar work: 80% of the work value. The bidder must have achieved a minimum financial turnover of 40% for the amount indicated, and the bidder must be a profit-making one for the last five years. The annual financial turnover amount is 40% of Work value only (average of the last five years). Liquid assets or availability of credit facilities is 10 % of Bid Value. The bidder's prior work experience is considered in the event of a tie in bid price, and the procuring entity shall identify the bidder for award of contract on the basis of highest available bid capacity and complexity/volume of similar nature of works executed during any one of the last five years by the bidder as prime contractor.
