The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature and size in the last 5 years. The value of similar work should be at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - The annual financial turnover amount: 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of respective value of work mentioned in IFB. - Value of similar work: 1/3rd of respective value of work in IFB (Not less than one third of contract value). - Quantities of works are: 40% of estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works in the last 5 years, with a certificate of similar nature of work done, completed in last 5 years, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge. The bidder should also have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The bidder should also demonstrate availability of key personnel with adequate experience, including: - Project Manager: B.E. Civil + 3 to 5 Years Exp. - Site Engineer: B.E. Civil + 1 Years Exp. Or Diploma in Civil Engg + 3 years Exp. - Plant Engineer: B.E. Mech. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Mech. + 5 years Exp. - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp. - Soil & Material Engineer: B.E. Civil. + 1 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 5 years Exp.
