The bidder is required to have a minimum annual financial turnover amount of 60% / 75% of the respective value of work. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works with a minimum value of one third of the total estimated cost of work, excluding maintenance cost for four years, and should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil contracts. The bidder should provide details of works underway or contractually committed, and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. The bidder should also provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, which is a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value. The bidder should provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years. The bidder is required to have completed one similar work done in the last 5 years, and should provide an annual financial turnover certificate for the last 5 years, showing the money received from civil work contracts. The available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next financial year. The bidder should have a minimum of 10% of the total estimated cost of work (construction amount + routine maintenance) as credit facilities. The bidder should also provide an undertaking for investment of minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work.
