Carrying out Sub Soil Investigation ( SSI), for all types of soil (except boring in rock) upto a depth of 30m or refusal ( N=100) for each foundation location as per IRC : 78-2014 and submission of SSI report to the Engineer in -Charge for approval. Preparation & submission of Design calculation & Drawings of foundations, Sub Structures, Super Structures as per relevant IRC codes and SSI report , 2 ( two) copies each of Design & Drawings of each Bridge to be submitted for approval and 8 (eight) copies after approval of competent authority.

Water Bound Macadam: (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. ( including all lead , transporting to site ) as per technical specification 405.(A) By Manual Means: (II) Grading- II. (a) Using stone Screening type –A (13.2 mm Agg.)

Prime coat : Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00 kg/sqm)(Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt)using mechanical means ( a) 'With bitumen emulsion-CSS-1h

Tack coat :Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.2 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared dry bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom ( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt)(I)'With bitumen emulsion-CSS-1h( Dry & hungry bituminous surface)

Open - Graded Premix Surfacing: Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut-back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades.) (including carriage up to site from quarry and carriage of mixed materials upto site from mixing plant.) ( Including cost of testing materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt) (a) without anti stripping agent Case-I : Mechanical method using Penetration grade Bitumen ( 60/70 or VG-30 grade) and HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes / hour

Seal Coat: (Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using either Type-A or Type-B seal coats. (including carriage up to site from quarry ) (Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.). as per technical specification. Without antistripping agent Case-I :Type A (Providing and laying liquid seal coat comprising of a layer of bituminous binder ( paving bitumen 60/70 or VG-30 grade, followed by a cover of crushed stone chipping of specified grade.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes and conforming to the MoSrt&H specifications
