The required prior work experience for the bidder includes achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value up to Rs 200 lakhs and 75% of the estimated cost of the package for works of value more than Rs 200 lakhs in any one year. The bidder should have completed a similar work as a prime contractor with a value of at least the estimated cost of the package. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. Mech. + 7 years Exp. - Quantity Surveyor: B.E. Civil. + 3 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 7 years Exp. - Soil & Material Engineer: B.E. Civil. + 3 years Exp. Or Dip. Civil. + 7 years Exp. Graduate engineers will be exempted from qualifying conditions of annual financial year, performance of single similar work, and item work experience, but this exemption will not be allowed after the contractor has availed benefit for one or more works with cumulative value of Rs. 5.00 Cr within 3 years from the issue of notification on the relaxation. The bidder should submit an affidavit and copies of R.C/Invoice of machineries under his possession. If proposed for lease, the bidder shall submit such agreement made with the lessee along with documents of possession of such machineries with the lessee. The bidder is required to furnish information on their prior work experience, specifically the minimum value of similar work completed.
