The required prior work experience for the bidder includes general construction experience and specific construction and contract management experience. For general construction experience, the bidder should have experience of substantial completion of at least one similar work of value not less than 174.74 Lakhs in the role of prime contractor in the last five financial years. Substantial completion is based on 90% or more works completed under the contract of similar work. The similar work is defined as “Construction of one RCC/PSC Girder Bridge with Pile/well foundation in a contract of value not less than Rs 174.74 Lakh across channel/river in a road project.” The bidder should have an average annual turnover of at least 218.42 Lakhs, calculated as the total certified payments received for contracts in progress and completed within the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the financial year 2025-26 at 5% per year. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum construction experience in specific key activities, including successful completion of 45 MT of steel reinforcement, minimum 132 Rm depth of pile, 443 cum of RCC work, and 1857 cum of earthwork in excavation, earthwork in filling in embankment/subgrade in one or more contracts/projects in any one year of the last five years between 1st April 2019 and 31st March 2024. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% or more, and the value is not less than 174.74 Lakhs. The bidder should provide details of relevant experience, including the total contract amount, quantity performed, and percentage participation in the contract.
