The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically in the similar nature of work done, completed in the last 5 years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the contract value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The value and percentage of similar works completed are specified as follows: - The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the contract value. - The completion rate should be not less than 90% of the contract value. - The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the NIT value in any one year of the last five years. - The bidder should have executed, in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide a certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, as well as a certificate of executed quantities of work done in the last 5 years. The bidder also needs to provide a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work as on the date of submission of the bid and an audited Balance sheet of the last 5 years. The bidder should also provide evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, which is a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value.
