The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar nature and size of works. The required experience includes: - Annual financial turnover amount: 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year of the respective value of work. - Value of similar work: 1/3rd of the respective value of work, not less than one third of the contract value. - Quantities of works: 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. - Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. - Total monetary value of civil construction work performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should also have completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, they should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work as indicated, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have experience of similar work, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work mentioned, excluding maintenance cost for four years. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the Contract and have evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of notified contract value) certified by the bankers.
