Normal visit: Preventive Maintenance Service: Preventive maintenance is an off-line maintenance of the equipment without disturbing normal laboratory operation. Details of services under preventive maintenance are as follows: A) Checking the general operation & operating condition of the equipment. B) Calibration of the equipment and submission of calibration report. C) General healthiness checks of various important components and cards: Service Engineer will check general healthiness of the equipment using his service tools according to servicing procedure. D) Investigation of the problems reported by NRL: The problems highlighted by NRL during the visit and hidden problems identified by Service engineer to be investigated. Vendor engineer will take appropriate / remedial steps for resolving these problems. E) Replacement of defective parts. : As per requirement if any part is to be replaced subject to availability of the part with NRL & work permit the same has to be replaced. F) After completion of servicing, service engineer will demonstrate the performance of the equipment to the satisfaction of NRL. G) Report: A detail report on jobs carried out, observations and recommendations to be submitted by the vendor upon completion of each visit. H) The vendor shall also offer suggestions for better performance of the equipment.
