The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The specific values like amount and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender for the respective categories. However, for the average annual contractual turnover calculation, the specific value is based on the advertised value of the tender (V) and the number of years prescribed for completion of work (N).
