The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works can be any of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Similar work is defined as any Minor/Major Bridge work involving concrete work. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. The overall cost, including the PVC amount (if paid), of the completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered for similar works. The bidder is required to submit a list of such works and a Work Completion Certificate for the mentioned works from the organizations with whom they worked. The bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, which is calculated as the average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The average annual contractual turnover should be at least V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work.
