The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works during the last 7 years. The criteria for similar works are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. A similar work is defined as any building work with a framed structure. The value of completed work is reckoned from the total payment received by the tenderer from the organization, and completion certificates submitted. The amount given in the completion certificate will be the value of completed work if the nomenclature of work matches with similar nature work mentioned. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works each costing not less than the specified percentage of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The specified percentages are 30%, 40%, and 60% for three, two, and one similar works, respectively.
