The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide a list of works completed in the last three financial years, giving details such as description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, and dates of award, start, and completion. The bidder should also have a list of works on hand, indicating description, contract value, and approximate value of balance work yet to be done. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The percentages and amounts of similar works completed mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subletting of work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work where no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
