The required prior work experience for the bidder includes contracting experience for the type of job for which tender is invited. The bidder should provide a list of works carried out in the past, along with testimonials. Additionally, certificates such as an attested Certificate from the client, Audited Balance Sheet duly certified by the Chartered Accountant, etc., regarding contractual payments received in the past, should be provided. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender. (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender. (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. The similar nature of work includes Smoke and Fire Detection and Alarm System for signaling installations at RRI/EI/PI stations or for Telecom installations in Indian Railways or in any other Govt./PSU Organizations.
