Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sand Cushioning (dry) in trenches/ducts for protection of UG Cables (below, above and around the UG Cable laid in Trenches) of 230mm Spread thickness (8 Cm in depth before laying the Cable and 15 Cm in depth after laying the Cable) and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : For the purpose of Payment, Punned thickness of Sand Cushioning only will be measured and paid for.

Supply & Laying Fly ash Bricks, well burnt, laid breadth wise along the length of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion laid for UG cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Erecting in true vertical position of Steel Tubular Swaged Pole Type 410-SP-64 (12.00 Metre long) including Cast Iron Base Plate, Finial Taper Plug, Cap, Mild Steel Bolts, Nuts, Screws with and including applying two coats of Black Bituminous Paint Internally and Externally from bottom End of Pole upto PCC Coping and applying two Coats of Aluminium Painting over a coat of Red oxide Primer including necessary earthwork in excavation in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil to a distance of not exceeding 50.0m, Cement Concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in Foundation of Poles filled upto ground level and Cement Concrete 1:2:4, Type B-1(20mm graded aggregate) as in Coping/Padestal of Poles and finishing the Concrete surfaces Fair and Even including necessary Formwork as required at Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Earthwork, Cement Concrete, etc. will not be measured and paid separately.

M&L for mild steel Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one red oxide primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in-repair of Stay assembly of 16mm dia 1.18m long stay rod complete with all accessories as shown in electrical plate No. 1, size of plate 230x230x6mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Cost of 01 no 65 x 90mm porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green Loop type insulator, Galvanised stay strand of 7/3.15mm size upto 7.50m long stay strands with clamps and bolts, excavation and concrete shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.

M&L for boring holes horizontally under road without damaging the road surface with the help of GI tubing not exc. 80mm bore dia for passing of UG cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: GI Pipe will be measured and paid separately.

S&F of Galvanised Iron Pipe 50mm bore (dia) ‘light grade’ for protection of UG Cable, laid under Floors or Road Crossing, fixing to Pole with and including Mild Steel Clamps, Nuts, Bolts, etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Item No. 14 here-in-above, but for 40mm bore (dia) pipe, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE : Earthworks, Sand Cushioning, Bricks, GI Pipe, etc. will be measured and paid under appropriate Items.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead of 32x6 mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel , procteded by GI pipe 40 mm bore( light grade) and watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe (med grade) and chamber and coping shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone agg. 50 mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone agg. reinforced with 8 mm dia MS tor bar @ 80 mm c/c both ways including excvation and earth work and removal of surplus soil complete all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of SSR PT 1, 1991 with charcoal dust and salt complete and earth lead connected to earthing test point (up to main switches, DBs), complete all as specified & testing on completion. NOTE:- (i) item includes the cost of 1.5 mtr length GI pipe for protection for GI earth lead. (ii) item rates includes the cost of 7.5 mtr GI earth lead.

All as per Item No 32 here-in-above, but for 4mm dia GI wire earth strip procteded by GI pipe 15 mm bore( light grade), complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge.
