The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor, with quantities of work executed in the past three years considered. The experience can also include work performed as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 25% of the bid value for the work. The bidder/contractor must have completed at least one work of a similar nature under a Government Department, with a value not less than 40% of the tender amount, within the last three years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last three years. They must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 40% of the estimated value of the contract in any one year of the last three years, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of 67% of the value of the contract over the last five years. The bidder must also have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of certain items of works. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should undertake to invest a minimum of 25% of the bid value for the work and have access to or availability of credit facilities, which is a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value. The bidder should be able to invest a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation.
