Shifting of dismantled 40 m ( 4 legged) heavy weight narrow based tower materials (Wt. Approx 15.00MT) from road side to rear side at Tamarhat, Dhubri by mechanical transport/manual labour distance appox. 150 Mtr i/c loading, unloading and stacking ,watch and ward etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in -charge

Disposal of building rubbish/ dismantled or waste materials from work site to dumping ground by mechanical transport including loading & unloading etc. complete as directed by Engineer Incharge.

Credit for :- TMT bars recovered from dismantling of RCC.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All kinds of soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.0 in foundation and plinth in:

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricksof class designation 5.0 in foundations and plinth in :

Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Making and supplying anchor bolts at site for fixing base of tower manufactured from 25/32mm dia mild steel bars of required length and welded with lugs made from 100x100x10mm thick steel plate at 50mm from bottom including suitable hexagonal nuts 2 nos.(nuts and check nuts) MS spring washers and bed plates,templates & side and angles etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. ( This item will be executed if anchore bolt not recovered in serviceable condition)

Supplying and fixing GI nuts & bolts (missing nuts & bolts) conforming to relevant IS codes as specified in BSNL Tower Manual of different size with required washers for errection of 40M tower.

6 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work.

Fixing bed plates templates and all anchor bolts etc for items of tower foundation including extremely accurate positioning, leveling etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- charge ( The rate includes the cost of fixing all bed plates, templates and anchor bolts for four legged tower. This item also include transportation of Bolts, angles etc..

Hoisting, fixing and erection of 40mtr. High NBHW tower (Wt. approx. 15.00MT)as per approved drawing and design with the all its necessary components which include antenna fixtures,lightening Arrestor, carrier and fastening, gantry cable feeder rack on resting and woring plastforms with hand rails, wave guide rack , wave guide rack support, ladders etc., climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with galvanized bolts, nuts and spring washers, necessary welding etc wherever required complete in all respects as per the directions and satisfaction of the Engineer-in- charge. Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower i/c hire and labour charges of tools, plants and mechineries, weldidng , drilling, cutting etc i/c necessary arrangement for safety belts, helmets to labours, insurance premium of labours etc. and nothing extra will be paid. The contractor has to supply insurance coverage certificate of workers.(The item will be measured after successful completion of A/T by competent authority). (a) 40 mtr. High NBLW tower.

Grouting the base plates legs anchor bolts and nuts of tower by enclosing the all four legs by half brick work in CM 1:4( 1 cement: 4 fine sand) on the column upto 300mm height applying grease to the nuts bolts to be emeded, covering the nuts bolts by polythene sheet filling the enclosure of brick work by sand laying cement concrete 1:2:4(1 cement:2 coarse sand:4 graded stone aggtt.20mm nominal size) on the leg to proper slope and plastering with 12mm cement plaster alround with CM 1:6 all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge etc complete.

Providing and applying two or more coats with LUXOL high gloss synthetic enamel paint or equivalent to members of 40 metre narrow based heavy weight tower of approx. weight 15.00 MT every alternate leg in international white and orange as per norms of civil aviation signal i/c applying one or more coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (BISON HB Zinc Phosphate or equivalent) over and above one coat of etch primer (BISON wash primer or equivalent) and necessary scaffolding etc., taking all necessary precautions to protect the human lives and insurance coverage to labourers etc all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge . (Note: Rate includes painting of tower, platform, antenna mount, ladder, vertical tray etc. and copy of Insurance Policy shall be produced before execution of this item)

Making rectangular hole approximately 450 x 250mm size in brick/RCC for cable entry at any height/ at any floor and making good all damages complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Pit Earthing with coper earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 3mm thick placed vertically in the excavated pit of size 900 x 900 x 3000mm . The plate shall be connected with 25x5 mm GI strips.The bolts,nuts washers shall be copper.The pit shall be filled with charcoal and salt upto a depth of 900mm and remaining portion with black soil without stones. The masonry chamber shall be provided at ground level of size 300 x 300 x 300mm with 125 mm thick brick work with bricks of CD 50 in CM 1:4 (1 Cement:4 coarse sand) made on 700X700X150 mm base concrete 1:4:8 (1-Cement:4-coarse sand:8-graded stone aggt. with 40mm nominal size ) with a hole in the middle to pass the GI pipe of 20 mm dia with a provision for funnel and provided with CI frame and cover (weight of cover not less than 4.5 kg/sqm) with locking arrangements. The funnel shall be fixed with wire mesh. The manhole cover shall be painted and marked with the value of earth resitance including measurement of earth resistance by earth megger etc complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The value of earth resiatance should be less than 0.50 Ω and nothing extra shall be paid for getting extra resiatance less than 0.50 Ω.

Providing & Fixing Twin LED aviation lamp at the top of tower of approved brand and make such as BINOY, AVIDAS, LITTEN etc. or equivalent with day and night automatic timer switch with necessary clamps , MCB switch (6 Amp) and Switch board and armoured insulated copper cable (2X1.50 sqmm) from aviation lamp to MCB switch with necessary fixtures etc complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and making interconnection of the pole towers by G.I. stripes of size 25X 5 mm and the same G.I.strip shall be connected to the pit earth from the pole taking down along the wall of the building by suitable nuts & bolts etc complete as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing copper spike type lightening arrester made of 10mm OD copper pipe with 10 mm ISRO bar copper fitted to 120 degree rod of size 5mm with necessary fixtures at the top of tower. The spike shall be insulated from tower by Teflon material. The spike shall be connected to coper plate earthing by insulated 70 Sqmm multistrand copper wire (Havell amke) with proper lugging arrangement as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
