Although the rollers are required only for 3 hrs. as per norms of output, but the same have to be available at site for 6 hrs. as the Hot mix plant and paver will take six hours for mixing and paving the output of 450 tonnes considered in this analysis. To cater for the idle period of these roller there usage rates have been multiplied by a factor of 0.65.
