Improvement of black spots;Provision of 8 Nos. of Rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide placed at 1 m centre-to-centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Improvement of black spots;Supplying of hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound 2.5mm thick including refloctrorising glass beads @250gms with rectrorising glass beads on Bituminous surface at 250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5M is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35, the material should be not less than Berger company and must comply with the following. A) White index for the product should be in the range of 60-70 when measured against standard reference. The applied panel 7/8 number must be submitted for checking up the white index in the department lab. In case the department approves the white index of any vendor, the department engineer may carryout random checking of the applied products at site against the approved panel. In case any major deviation, beyond acceptance limit, department reserve the right to cancel or reject the total supplied consignment of the said material and will compel the vendor has to replace the full consignment by the desired material as per approved panel at his own cost and additional demurrages may be claimed due to loss of man days (as per the rules of the department). B) Luminance factor of the material should be in the range of 80-85% at 45degree centigrade as per AASTHOM249. C) Crack resistance: the applied panel cured for 7 days at the range of ?0? degree centigrade to ?10? degree centigrade. D)Adhesion : Strong. E) Softening point: 102 degree centigrade F) Dried film finish : Smooth and Uniform. G) Night Vision: High as directed by the engineer in charge and confirming to IS164-1961(1st revision reaffirmed in 1986)and clause confirming to IRC 35-1997. Improvement of black spots;supply and fixing of molded shanks (studs) raised pavement markers 3M/Equivalent made of plastic body molded from HIPS(Hi-impact polystyrene) of ABS or ASA(acrylic ) styrene acrylonitrite) and reflective panles with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000kg tested in accordance to ASTM D4280type H and complying to specifications of category A of MORTH circular no:RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO 111 Dt: 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not exceed 50mm, 100mm, and 100mm and width medium reflective area of 13sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks(of diameter not less than 19 +- 2mm and height not less than 30 +- 2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 700kgs. Fixing will be drilling holes on the road of the twin shanks to go inside without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.
