Hire Charges for erection and removal of Steps and landings system including necessary supporting structure, hand railing, etc., for finished item of work for providing access to different Gopurams, Vimanams, etc., with the following specification:The Steps/Landings should be provided with using Country wood/ Sliver Wood planks,reapers etc. of required size and thickness covering total width as directed during execution.The M.S pipes hand railing using 40 mm dia & higher size MS pipes with necessary verticals& horizontals shall be arranged on both sides of the steps. The same shall be strong enough wihout any shaking, etc.The Colour Carpet /Coir mat should be spread over on entire Steps and Landings (including Treads & Raisers) and fixed with suitable fixing materials as directed during execution.The entire steps/landings shall be supported with suitable supporting structure using MSpipes, special type gripper clams etc., wherever the width of steps/landings is more than 0.9 mtrs., adequate intermittent supports shall be provided.The supporting structure should be strong enough to carry the loads with required verticals,horizontals, cross bracings, etc., required as directed during execution as per the site conditions to withstand to heavy loads. Necessary firm base plates at the ground levels shall also be provided.The rate includes hire charges of all required materials for Steps, railings, Supporting Structure, base plates, etc., with all required materials such as Pipes & purlins, Clamps,posts, Coir puri, runners, planks, nails, carpet, etc., complete and including Labour charges for fixing and removal the entire structure carefully after completion of the festival or as directed during execution etc. complete (No separate rate shall be paid for supporting structure).The tread shall not be less than 300 mm and raisers shall not be more than 200 mm and the width of the steps/landings shall be as per the requirement and as directed duringexecution.The payment for Steps/landings shall be made for plan area only i.e treads and landings area only (excluding raisers) and no folding measurement should be allowed.The relevant conditions of the foot note mentioned at the end of these items/chapter applies.For Festival/ Function.
