East Coast Railway Tender

Excavation of trenches in all kinds of soils including soft rocky area and clearing of track etc. to a depth of 1.0 M and width of 0.3 M for track crossing /pucca road/ level crossing gate/platform/station circulating area or any other place as advised by site Engineer including transportation and laying of DWC/RCC/Split RCC/G.I. pipes with or without coupler. This includes repairing of track/pucca road/level crossing gate/ platform/station circulating area surface to original position by ramming and concreting wherever required soon after the work is over. DWC/RCC/GI pipes shall be supplied by the Railway. DWC pipes wherever required shall be supplied in 6 Mtr. length and shall be cut to size as per requirement. All other materials including cement are to be supplied by the Contractor.

Concreting (Mix 1:2:4) 200 mm x 200 mm on G.I. Pipes on bridges/ culverts or any other location as specified by the Rly. Supervisor. All materials including cement required for the above works are to be supplied by the tenderer.

Concreting (1:1.5:3) at a height of 150 mm & width of 0.3 m after laying of cables 6 where it is not possible to dig up to full depth of 1.2m/1.0m/0.8m in normal soil due to existing cables are in the trench, culverts, bridges. All materials including cement and chips of size 20mm. etc. to be supplied by the contractor. Payment for the depth of trench to be paid in proportionate to the rate specified for 1.2 mtr depth (excluding the concreting rate).

Trenching and fixing of G.I. pipes of different sizes/DWC pipes in hard rocky area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M or at places as per instruction of site Engineer and concreting [1 : 3 : 6] up to height of 100 mm above the pipes. G.I. pipes with the socket/DWC pipes shall be supplied by the 7 Railway. All other materials required for the works shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: [1] In case of girder bridges, G.I. pipes shall be suitably clamped by the contractor as advised by the site Engineer. Clamps shall be supplied by the contractor. [2] The work including excavation of trenches in hard rock area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M and back filling, ramming after completion of work where ever required. [3] In case of concrete bridges clearing of ballast for laying of pipes and re arranging the Railway ballast after completion of work shall be done by the contractor.

Cutting of masonry floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a depth of 0.5 mtr to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside the 8 building. Only G.I pipes supplied by Railway and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonry floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.

Laying of Signalling/4 Quad/ 6 Quads Power Cable/Telecom cables/ Jelly filled cables of all sizes in excavated trench, through G.I/RCC/DWC pipes etc. wherever required. This includes transportation of cables from the stores to work site and transportation of empty cable drums with left 9 over cables from site to the stores. The length of cable laid includes the length of cable coil for termination purpose. NOTE:- The cables are to be carefully handled during loading, un-loading and transportation to work site, Any damage found in the cable after final testing, in view of mishandling of cables, shall be made good by the Tenderer. Cable should be meggered before and after laying and recorded in a register and submitted to the site Engineer.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (full size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. S&T/CON/SK/16. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only from Railway stores at. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm 10 thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick, Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. 1) Modification of inside arrangement of Apparatus cases if required for fixing of relays/transformers etc. shall be done by the contractor. Extra shelf, if any, shall be deposited to the Railway stores by the contractor. 2) All cables shall be terminated by providing copper eyelet of suitable size. Note:- (i) If location box foundation is available at site 20% of the cost is to be deducted.(ii) 40% payment shall be released after erection of location boxes.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (Half size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry termination clamping, 11 filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No, S&T/Con/BBS/92/90. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only. Tenderer shall supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness] wood plank board of good quality |minimum 3/4" thick, cement and any other materials that are required for the work at his own cost. Contractor has to transport all the materials from store at his own cost to the work site. Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of concrete foundation for A/B type 12 foundations as per approved drawing of railway. The standard ratio of mixture i.e. cement, sand and 1"stone chips shall be 1:2:4 respectively. A/B type foundations only will be supplied by railway. The contractor shall arrange cement, sand, ballast, nuts & bolts and all other materials required for work.

Transportation of signal posts for multiple aspect color light signals, complete with signal units, bases, ladders and other fittings, excavation of pit, casting of cement concrete foundation, plastering as per Drg.No Con/SK/T/12, erection and fixing of complete fittings of the 2/3/4 aspect signal/signal posts including termination of cables, wiring, LED fixing, signal testing and 13 focusing. Name plate & marker and all other materials shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. Required cement shall be supplied by the contractor. Arrangement of Screening to be provided by the contractor if required as instructed by site Engineer. Contractor shall prepare jointly with Railway Engineer at site and submit Signal Sighting report and Signal test report as per approved format of Railway. NOTE: (i) 50 % Payment shall be released after erection of signal post. Balance 50% shall be released after termination of cable, wiring, painting, testing & focusing of signal (ii) If foundation is available at site 30% of the cost is to be deducted.

Supply, Transportation and Installation of earth electrode (make TATA or Jindal as per Rly. practice) including MS flat for signalling equipments on lever frame, apparatus cases, signal, relay racks, cable termination rack, block instrument etc. (supply & installation of earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/DRG/Tender/SK/398/94 for apparatus cases, signal post & other equipments 14 as per instruction on earthing of S&T equipment. Laying of earth lead| mild steel flat of size 35mmx6mm and fixing of lead MS flat (make TATA/Jindal or Similar) to earth electrode and lever frame, signal post & apparatus cases as per Drg. No. CORE/S&T/ALD/SK/591/2008, 592/2008 and 593/2008 respectively and instructions on earthing at S&T equipment and providing cement enclosure for earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/Sig./Tender/SK/13/85 Alt. A)NOTE: This includes testing of earth value and indicating the same on the Earth enclosure by paint. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply, transportation, foundation, erection, painting and lettering of legend board, stop board etc with 4" [minimum] GI channel iron support length as per G &SR, SEM and IP. This 15 includes excavation pit as per approved drawing of the railway for casting of base foundation [ratio 1: 3: 6]. All the materials required for the above works shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: approximate size of the legend board shall be 24" X 18" X 1/5". Inspection of legend board, stop board etc shall be done by representative of the Railway.

Fixing and wiring of distilled water plant including connection with water supply line, supply, fixing and wiring of 16 Amps power supply board with change over switch for local/AT (and 16 D.G supply if required) by 7/0.29 wire from local Main/AT/D.G supply through PVC pipe and execution of strengthening, rearrangement, masonry, plumbing and all other work as specified by the Railway site engineer. Materials such as wire (7/0.29), PVC pipe, power supply board, GI pipe as required, tap for water supply, cement and all other materials required for the above work including distilled water plant shall be supplied by the contractor

Transportation of all sorts of railway signal & Telecom materials from/to any place in 17 India to/from Railway stores/Any other store depot including loading, unloading and stacking the same at specified places as directed by the representative of railway. The rate includes lead, lift, ascent, descent, all taxes, royalty, labour, tools and plants etc. complete. See Item breakup.

Strengthening of foundation of full/ half location boxes, by carrying out the earth work 1 around the foundation, ramming of the earth carrying out masonary work from bottom of earth work using country stones and cement masonary to prevent the earth from slipping down the bank. All the materials for masonary work to be supplied by the contractor. a) for tilting between 0 to 10 degrees

Painting & lettering of Point machine including supply of Black paint & other necessary paints.

Painting of Point machine Ground connections including supply of Black paint, graphite & other necessary paints.

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade one or more coats of Location Box (outside) including supply of Aluminium paint.

Painting & lettering of Signal post & Ladder including supply of Aluminum, Black paint & other necessary paints.

Painting & lettering of CLS Unit including supply of Aluminium, Black paint & other necessary paints.

Lifting of Point machine Junction Box along with lead wires and cables as advised by Railway representative.

Painting of LC Gate Boom & Stop Board including supply of Yellow, Black, Red paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar.

Painting of Pedestal of LC Gate including supply of Black paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar.

Painting of Winch of LC Gate including supply of Black paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar.

Painting of Lock post of LC Gate including supply of Black paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar. 12

Painting & graphiting of running rods including supply of Red Oxide paint & Graphite.

Painting of ELB Boom & Stop Board including supply of Yellow, Black paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar.

Painting of Pedestal/Operation Panel of ELB including supply of gray paint & other necessary paints. Paint should be of make Asian, Berger, Nicholson or similar.

Supply of Sulphuric Acid solution, Specific Gravity 1210. Inspection by railway representative.

Printing and supply of maintenance Registers of 200 pages. The register will be as per directives of site engineer. The basic format for the register or sample copy will be provided by Railway for printing. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of Hooter floor mounting type (adjustable angle) to run on 24V DC Make: Golden or similar. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of Drill Twist 7.2 mm (HSS drill twist p/s 7-2 mm) Make: MIRANDA or similar. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of grease of Bharat Mp-2 of M/s Bharat Petroleum or Servo Gem-2 of M/s Indian Oil or similar. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of Transmission Oil C4 SAE 30. Make: IOCL or HPCL or BPCL or BALMER LAWRIE or GOCL. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of Retro Reflective sheet for signal number plate - 3 digit as per IRSEM Drg.No.19-D10. Make: 3M or Avery or Kiwalite or similar. Inspection by Railway Representative.

Supply of Aerosol cans of 500 ml capacity, one component, self expanding, ready to use, Pufseal polyurethane foam sealant having shelf life of 24 months for filling gap and cavities, Make: Stanvac Chemical or Superon or Corium or similar. Inspection by Railway Representative.
