Carrying out Reclamation works at the 685 acres of acquired land (only after completion of the entire Peripheral Bund) by Surveys including Construction of Permanent Benchmarks, dredging of the material at the designated/identified Borrow Areas including making access channels (if any) to the Borrow Areas, dredging of material at the Borrow Areas, pumping the same through pipeline to the Reclamation Area, clearing and stripping at reclamation site prior to the pumping of material, making of internal bunds at reclamation sites as required, filling and levelling with dredge material, compacting, testing, rectification works (if any), etc., complete so as to attain the required compaction parameters and the levels as per the approved drawings and as per the details laid down in the technical specifications, and under Drawings/ Charts and documents mentioned under IX & X, carrying backwash water back to the final disposal point at Sea by pumping, including construction of all necessary approaches, intermediate booster pumping stations, site offices, laboratories, equipment for backwash water pumping etc., taking all steps to protect the environment conditions, supply of manpower, materials, fuels and consumables etc., all complete as per the attached scope of work, specifications, Tender Documents, instructions of the EMPLOYER, meeting the requirements of Environmental Clearance, Forest Clearance, CRZ Clearance, Detailed Project Report, Statutory Approvals etc. to complete the Dredging and Reclamation Works in all respects Notes : a. All Dredging and Reclamation works for the 685 Acres of land shall be paid under this item only. b. Any variation in the quantity indicates in the tender conditions, the quantity mentioned at Reclamation area only, i.e Reclamation quantity. c. Final level of the reclamation area for the purpose of payment shall be taken immediately after the said area has been certified by the EMPLOYER for having attained the compaction requirements based on the tests listed in specifications/tender conditions. d. Monthly Quantity calculations for payment purposes shall be done on the basis of the difference in the levels between “Pre-reclamation survey” and “Intermittent ( Monthly) Reclamation Surveys”. e. Final Quantity calculations for payment purposes shall be done on the basis of the difference in the levels between Pre-reclamation and Post Reclamation Topographic Surveys after attaining the required finished level as per dwgs and charts enclosed.
