Earthwork in filling in embankment, guide bunds, around buried type abutments, bridge gaps, trolley refuges, platforms etc. with contractor's own earth conforming to Soil Quality Class SQ3, after preparation of foundations as applicable, benching in existing banks wherever required, spreading in layers with motor grader, bringing the moisture content to OMC, mechanical compaction to specified density and dressing of bank to final profile as per RDSO Specifications: RDSO/2020/GE: IRS-0004 with latest correction slips. The item shall include demarcation and setting out of profile site clearance , removing of shrubs, roots of vegetation growth ,heavy grass, all handling and rahandling ,spreading in layers with motar grader , bringing the moisture content to OMC, Mechanical compaction to specified density and dressing of bank to final profile as a complete job and transportation for a lead, unloading and dressing to the Railway specifications..The payment shall be made as per finished profile .Cut trees shall be the property of APIIC and to be deposited unless specified otherwise in special conditions of contract note.Payments under this item shall be made only upto the thichness as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.Any additional thickness executed shall be paid under item of Earthwork in filling the embankment for soil quality class SQ3. (Payment will be made based on level for finished item of work). Top layer & Blanketing as per Railway specifications.
