An operating mechanism shall be used to manually close the circuit breaker and charge the mechanism in a single movement. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 Positions Earthing Switch and Disconnector Circuit breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an Integrated Push Button. There shall be no automatic reclosing. Circuit Breaker shall have a min of 2000 Mechanical and Electrical Operations and 50 Nos Short Circuit Operations, Disconnector and Earth Switch shall have a minimum of 1000 [M1] Mechanical Operations , 100 Electrical Operations at rated current. [C] Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering Unit comprising the following: – 1 Set [i] Air Insulated Enclosure with necessary Bus Connection – 1 No [ii] PT 11KV / √3 / 110V / √3, 50 VA, Class-1.0 – 1 Set [iii] Multi Function Meter, Digital Type [Displaying A, V, PF, Hz, KVA, KW, KVAR, KWH, KVARH etc. Class 1.0 / 0.5] with RS485 Port for Communication in Modbus Protocol. - 01 Set [iv] R / Y / B Indicating Lamps – 1 Set [v] Provn of control wiring with DWC/ CPVC protection pipe from nearest substation LT panel to RMU.

[vi] Battery and Battery Charger, 12 Ah, [I/P-230V AC, O/P - 24V DC] – 1 No [D] Space Heater with thermostat [E] Alarm Annunciator and Hooter as per OEM design. [F] The auxilaury supply shall be taken from nearest sub station/ LT panel. Notes: [a] The IAC in front, lateral and rear AFLR 21 kA – 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment of the RMU Switch board during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box. [b] All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushingsor as per IEM design as approved by GE [d] The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of minimum 02 No operating handles for operation of RMU. [e] Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation as per OEM design and shall not be paid as extra on this account, quoted rate inclusive of foundation, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, drawings, as specified and as directed.

[d] The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 185 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [e] End termination joints and Shifting/ relaying of cable from structure to RMU shall be measured and paid separately. [f] The make of RMU/ VCB/ vacuum interrupter/ Relays offered shall be of same make or OEM approved makes. (g) The Contractor shall submit GA drawings of RMU for approval of Accepting Officer before placing order. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for pre-despatch inspection at manufacturer site or e-testing as directed by Accepting Officer and for pre-commissioning test by AEI/ ESO or any testing officer as nominated by HQ CE (A&N) Zone through Accepting Officer after installation of RMU. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of Factory Made, Floor mounted, 11 kV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorised, Outdoor, extensible type, 3 Way RMU Consisting of 2 Nos. LBS as Incoming and 1 Nos. of VCBs as Outgoing with metering cubicle and SCADA Compatible complete all specified and as directed and shall comprise of the following: Make of RMU : ABB/ SIEMENS/ SCHNEIDER and VCB/ vacuum interrupter, relay shall be of OEM approved make.

[A] RMU shall be floor mounted, 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor, extensible type, RMU with Air Insulated Bus Connected Metering unit, Type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at a height up to altitude 1000 Meters above sea level and Ambient Temperature range from 5ºC to 50ºC as per OEM design de-rating, Switchgear and Busbar shall all be contained in a Stainless Steel Enclosure [Minimum 2.0mm thick SS 304 Grade filled with SF6 at 0.3 Bar [300 hPa] Relative Pressure, RMU Tank shall provide Full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with Degree of Protection of IP67, Switchgear Operating Mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection, Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested, Powder Coated with Pure Polyester Based Paint, suitable for the site installation conditions, Accidental Overpressure due to an Internal Arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator, Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars.

[b] All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings or as per OEM design as approved by GE and VCBs/LBS shall be suitable for both manual and motorised operation.

[c] Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation and shall not be paid as extra on this account. The foundation shall consists of Two Parallel Solid block masonry straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 of suitable length, suitable thickness and height as per the manufacturer’s instructions over PCC Concrete Bed of 150mm thick in PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled, over 150mm thick Sand Bed, rendering to brick surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, drawings, as specified and as directed. [d] The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures/ HT VCBs, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [e] End termination joints shall be measured and paid separately.

[f] The make of RMU/ VCB/ vacuum interrupter/ Relays/ FRTU offered shall be of same make/ OEM approved make. [g] The Contractor shall submit GA drawings of RMU for approval of Accepting Officer before placing order. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for pre-despatch inspection at manufacturer site or e-testing as directed by Accepting Officer and for pre-commissioning test by SEI/EI/ ESO or any testing officer nominated by HQ CE (A&N) Zone through Accepting Officer in case of non-availability of SEI/EI/ESO after installation of transformer after installation of RMU. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply & fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade XLPE cable for Indoor end termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm to 185 sqmm, testing after jointing including taking down defective end joint complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade XLPE cable for Indoor end termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core 95 sqmm XLPE cable including testing after jointing complete all as directed .

Taking down of unserviciable old UG Cable of any size and any type complete all as specified and directed .

Supply, laying in trenches/ ducts, fixed on walls, passing through pipes, testing & termination of HT UG cable, XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11 KV (earthed) grade cable of size 3 core 120 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Excavation earth work shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii) HT end termination kits/ straight through joints shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, laying in trenches/ ducts, fixed on walls, passing through pipes, testing & termination of HT UG cable, XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11 KV (earthed) grade cable of size 3 core 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Excavation earth work shall be measured and paid seperately. (ii) HT end termination kits/ straight through joints shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying in trenches, fixed on walls, passing through pipes, jointing and testing of electric LT cables, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables with stranded aluminium conductors 1100 Volts grade of size 3.5C x 400 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed: Note: (i) The rates shall be inclusive of cable lugs at both ends of cable.. (ii) Insulation Resistance value of cable shall be recorded before and after laying of cable.

M & L for excavation in trenches any type of soil (soft/loose/hard/dense) not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation, pipe, laying of cable etc not exc 10 Sqmtr on plan and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil completeall as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

M & L for good quality dry sand cushioning to under ground electric cable on layer of 8 cm thick before laying the cable and second layer of 15 cm thick after laying the cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of MES Schedule part-I (2009) Note : Sand shall be fined sand as specifed and punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover factory made as per IS 5820-1970, class HV, type 1 with flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay 80 mm dia GI tubes light grade galvanised with all fittings laid in trenches etc for protection of cable including taking down of old unserviceable GI pipe of complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of copper wound step down transformer, outdoor type, oil immersed , naturally cooled ONAN, rated temperature rise in oil & winding 45/50 degree centigrade complete with standard fittings of capacity not less than 750 KVA or nearest higher capacity as per latest IS 1180-2014, HT 11 KV, 3 phase, LT, 433V, 4 wire, 50Hz of vector group DYN-11 with off load tap changing device on HT side to vary secondary voltage from + 7.5% to -7.5% in steps of 2.5%, including cable box on LT and HT side , first fill of transformer oil, suitable mounting rails of appropriate gauge and other standard accesssories all as per IS:1180 (Part 1) : 2014 with maximum total losses as per energy efficiency level 2 of IS:1180 (Part 1) : 2014 and latest ammendments. Make: Bharat Bhijlee/ BHEL/ CG/ Schneider/ABB/Voltamp - vadodara/ ITE - Gurgaon

Note: The rate quoted deemed to be include the cost of the following:- a) Accessories such as magnetic oil level gauge, rating and diagram plate, monogram plate, explosive vent with diaphragm, thermometer pocket with thermometer, top filter valve, gun metal drain valve at bottom, Air release plug, Inspection cover, lifting lugs/hooks, earthing pads, bi-directional plain rollers, oil temperature indicator, winding temperature indicator, Buchholz relay with valve, marshalling box, silica gel breather & other standard accessories all as per IS:1180 (Part 1) : 2014. b) The transformer to be erected outdoor. Necessary transformer foundation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. The rate quoted is also inclusive of making good distributed flooring/ surfaces all as directed. c) The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for pre-despatch inspection at manufacturer site or e-testing as directed by Accepting Officer and for pre-commissioning test by SEI/EI/ ESO or any testing officer nominated by HQ CE (A&N) Zone through Accepting Officer in case of non-availability of SEI/EI/ESO after installation of transformer. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate. d) The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of nearest higher capacity as per latest IS:1180-2014

Material and labour for earthing with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 32 mm x 6 mm by means of GI Welding made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 40 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead, 20 mm dia GI pipe for watering and earth plate surrounded by packed layer of coal and common salt, 15cm thick all around bottom and top, watering pipe of 20 mm bore of light grade with funnel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board/ transformer neutral and testing on completion as directed including earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, pre-cast reinforced cover with MS XPM Jalli, RCC 1:1.5:3 cover slab of size 450 x 450 x 100 mm with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, wire mesh and testing complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling old defective earth pit.

Note: (i) Cost of GI earth Strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for Wire mesh, funnel, excavation.returninng & filling. PCC chamber pit,RCC cover & test point. (iii) If the desired earth resistance is not achived during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of LT panel board factory made outdoor type, double door, fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, floor mounting, dust and vermine proof, suitable for voltage 415 V 3 Phase 4 wire weather proof, slopy canopy with IP54 protection, with separate hinge door for each compartment for incoming and outgoing switchgears/ACB etc with locking arrangement, with back door openable (Screwed), including painting with two coats of epoxy powder paint over a coat of primer after under going a rigorous metal treatment process involving alkaline degreasing, descaling in dilute sulphuric acid or any other acid and phosphate and with aluminium busbar (TPN), suitable double compression copper cable glands complete in all respect and including PCC work and provn of the following: a) Aluminium Bus bar of rating 2000-A mounted on porcelain insulator - 01 Set ( Set of 4 Nos) with PVC sleeve insulation.

M & L for Cutting the tarmac / hard standings and excavating in trenches across the road for laying cable including making good the excavated portion by means of PCC 1:3:6, type C2 matching with the surroundings complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old HT 4 pole structure complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old HT 2 pole structure complete all as specified and as directed.
