SERVICES

(a)) Undertake 4 annual routines (b) Detail scope of work is as follows:- I) Check and record the alignment between gear box to motor and gear box to pump. II) Check the actual condition of the pump. III) Dismantle any pipes, duct on top of pump top covers if causing obstruction. IV) Opening the top cover for inspection. V) Inspection of shaft and shaft sleeve. VI) Inspection of submerged bearing, radial and thrust bearing. VII) Replacing casing ring. VIII) Assembly of rotating parts and installing lower casing. IX) Renewal of mating surface packing/asbestos packing between upper and lower casing. X) Renewal of gland packing. XI) Adjustment of clearance between impeller and renewable ring. If clearance is nor under permissible limit, renew renewable ring. XII) Check clearance of sliding contact parts and renew if not under permissible limit for bearing metal, bearing sleeve and packing sleeve. XIII) Replace rubber on the end bearing metal. XIV) Apply Molybdenum disulfide to threads of bearing sleeve nut. XV) Assembly of upper casing. XVI) Check and adjustment alignment between gear box to motor and gear box to pump. XVII) Replacement of sight glass on bearing housing of port and Stbd ballast pump. XVIII) Performance assessment and vibration trials of the pump post completion of the routines.
