Conducting standard penetration test (SPT) at 1 m intervals upto 4 m depth and 1.5 m intervals thereafter or every change in stratum whichever is less, Collection of disturbed and undisturbed samples, Observation of water table and carrying out laboratory tests on undisturbed and disturbed soil samples as listed but not limited to the following: a) Bulk density and Moisture content b) Grain size analysis (sieve & hydrometer analysis) c) Atterberg / Consistency Limits & Specific Gravity d) One dimensional Consolidation test on Clayey soil e) Unconfined Compression test f) Triaxial Shear test (in case of cohesive & c-φ soils) g) Direct shear test (in case of cohesionless soils) h) Swell pressure and Free swell Index determination i) Vane Shear test j) Chemical analysis of Soil and Water samples (on selective samples per borehole) –pH, Chlorides and Sulphates

Conducting following tests for rock samples: a) Unit weight b) Specific Gravity c) Porosity of rock sample d) Unconfined/Uniaxial Compressive Strength (both saturated and at in-situ water content) e) Point load index test (both saturated and at in-situ water content)

Conducting test for soil resistivity measurement using four pole fall of potential (Wenner Method) in the vicinity of the building at specified point at the location of each building (1 set) and recommendations for the type of earthing system as per latest IS-3043 (The measurement shall be done preferably in dry condition at least 72 hours after the last rainfall).

Mobilisation and Demobilisation of Electrical Resistivity test equipments, personnel and all other machinery, tools, plant and materials including all accessories from the site etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
