To This End, The Study Will: (a) Assemble Qualitative And Quantitative Evidence, Including Operator Surveys And Interviewers, Of The Main Drivers Of Operations And Decision-making In The Formal And Informal Trucking Industry In India; (b) Map The Challenges, Barriers, And Incentives That Prevent The Modernization Of The Trucking Operators; (c) Develop A Framework Capturing The Drivers Of Operators Decision-making, And How These Decisions Are Affected By Various Regulatory Interventions, Policies, Access To Finance And Others; (d) Develop An Analytical Model To Test Key Policy Interventions Toward Maximizing Their Impact On Logistics Efficiency And Ghg Emissions; And (e) Identify Policy And Technology Priorities To Enhance Trucking Efficiency And Sustainability In India, And Propose An Action Plan To Deploy The Solutions.
