This luminaire shall replace existing recess mounted 1x36W conventional flourecent lamp based luminaires mounted in Gypsum Board false ceiling at height of around 3.5 meter. The cut-out dimensions of new LED luminaires for recessed mounting shall be matched with the existing cut-out in the Gypsum Board false-ceiling. MS/Die cast Aluminium powder coated frame may be provided along with new LED luminaires to accomodate the luminaire in the existing false ceiling cut-out subject to site requirement & approval of Engineer-in-charge.The colour of the metallic frame shall also be matched with LED luminaire housing. All this required arrangements to accomodate the new LED luminaire in the exising false ceiling cut-out shall be in the scope of contractor. The required ladder/stacker/any other arrangement for working safely at 6 meter height for whole installation work shall be in the scope of contractor. The nominal size of existing cut out in Gypsum Board false ceiling is approximately 1230 (L) x 110 (W) mm. The cut-out dimensions of new LED luminaires shall be matched with the existing cut-out in the false-ceiling, hence modication work shall be required in the false ceiling for mounting of new LED luminaires. Modification work in false ceiling with all required arrangements shall be in the scope of contractor subject to site requirement & approval of Engineer-in-charge.
