Remote sensing studies along the 10 km wide alignment corridor with Limited ground checks consisting of interpretation of satellite, collateral and field data for preparation of Thematic maps depicting geological units, geomorphologic maps depicting geomorphic units, lineament/ fracture map showing structural 9 features, detailed drainage and surface water bodies, map portrayal of geological and tectonic features and their significance in planning, design and construction of tunnels, bridges and railway formation. (This will be used in development of geological model and refinement of proposed alignment will be done based on this study wherever required) Note: Only High Resolution Basic Satellite Stereo-pairs imagery (0.3m resolution) Panchromatic and 4- band multispectral for Area of Interest (AoI) will be provided by the Client. All the processing of the satellite images will be done by the bidder. Interpretation to be done by an Expert in the relevant field.

Transportation for Railway officials for field survey supervision duty/Inspection etc. Vehicle charges towards running of vehicle.

Shear wave velocity profile (VS30) Through Multi Channel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) technique in connection with Earthquake design parameter study at various bridge locations.

Transportation for Railway officials for field survey supervision duty/Inspection etc. Vehicle charges per day towards cost (Robust Vehicle like Toyota/Innova etc.) which can ply in mountainous areas like Sopore, Kupwara etc.

Preparation and submission of land E acquisition proposals required up to issuance of notifications under Section 4 of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Land Acquisition Act, 2013). Refer to clause 20 of Section 5: Terms of reference.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY 3a Mobilization and De-Mobilization Charges of Equipment's at site for Seismic Refraction survey and 2-D Resistivity Survey as per item C-3b &C-3c below. 50% for seismic refraction survey and 50% for 2- D resistivity survey.

SEISMIC REFRACTION SURVEY Seismic Refraction Survey including data acquisition, data processing and interpretation for deciding suitability of alignment at portals of tunnels, open cutting, yards and major bridge locations. The work included service of engineers, scientists, surveyors, draftsmen, CAD operators, 11 labours, helpers and others (computer, printers & tracing etc.) Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment will be released after completion of field work and submission of seismic refraction survey report. (b) Balance 20% payment shall be released after approval of seismic refraction survey report by Railway Authorities. Note: The quantity may change as per the geology and topography of the alignment finalized. The location and the quantity shall be decided and executed with the approval of Employer.

RESISTIVITY SURVEY 2-D Resistivity image mapping including data acquisition, data processing and interpretation for deciding suitability of alignment at portals of tunnels, open cutting, yards and major bridge locations. The work includes service of engineers, scientists, surveyors, draftsmen, CAD operators, labours, 12 helpers and others (computer, printers & tracing etc.) Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment will be released after completion of field work and submission of resistivity survey report. (b) Balance 20% payment shall be released after approval of resisitivity survey report by Railway Authorities. Note: The quantity may change as per the geology and topography of the alignment finalized. The location and the quantity shall be decided and executed with the approval of Employer.

Videography by using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(Drone) with Hybrid technology of railway corridor along the alignment in different stretches.

Establishing co-ordinates (in grid and ground co-ordinates system) of control points at every 5 kms 4 (approx.) by carrying out DGPS survey along the approved alignment for setting out of works on the project and submission of DGPS survey report as approved by NR. Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment will be released after completion of field work and submission of DGPS Survey report. (b) Balance 20% payment will be released after acceptance of DGPS Survey report by Railway Authorities.

Obtaining of Forest Clearance permission as per Forest Conservation Act 1980 and its amendments by performing following activities: Preparation and submission of forest proposal for obtaining 18 permission for diversion of forestland as per Forest Conservation Act 1980 and its amendments, for all Forest Divisions as required upto the stage of online submission on MOEF & CC web portal. Consultant shall also obtain consent of Gram Sabha (s) wherever required under Recognition of Forest Right Act 2006 (FRA) as part of Forest proposal to the satisfaction of Railway Authority.

Environmental studies consisting of collection of primary and secondary data on Soil, Water, Ecology (flora, fauna), Air & Noise, Socio-economic Environmental Impact Analysis, Environmental Impact Assessment Study and preparation of Environment Mitigation Plan as detailed in Sections: clause 4.2.8(1) and 14 tentative environmental cost estimates. It will also include working out of the muck generated from tunnels and cuttings and identification of suitable muck dumping areas. The work included service of engineers, scientists, surveyors, draftsmen, CAD operators, labours, helpers and others (computer, printers & tracing etc). Stage Payment: (a) 40% payment will be released after completion of field work and submission of Environmental Impact Assessment Study. (b) 40% payment will be released after submission of Environment mitigation plan. (c) Balance 20% payment shall be Released after approval of (a) & (b) above by Railway Authorities.

Preliminary design of main & Escape tunnels, cross passages portals, adits,shafts, bridges, slopes, deep cuttings, protection works, buildings works, yards, track works, electrical & OHE works and installations, Signaling and telecom woks, and all related & enabling works for the purpose of preparing the Cost Estimate of the project. The preliminary designs should provide quantities as realistic as possible based on codal provisions, 15 international best practices, thumb rules, empirical formula and based on past practices adopted in similar Indian Railway projects and considering actual geological and geo- physical survey information in consultation with Employer. Note:- (i) The submission shall be in the form of Report which includes supporting drawings/ documents such as layout plans, tentative GADs/conceptual drawings, cross sections, sketches, technical parameters, codal provisions, thumb rules etc used in the design along with justifications. Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment will be released on submission of preliminary designs report. (b) 20% payment will be released After approval of report by Railway Authorities.

Traffic Survey calculation of EIRR for new line Sopore to Kupwara (33.7 Km)

Preparation of Project Cost Estimate of the complete Project As per quantities worked out in Preliminary design done in item E-1(a) above and as per formats of Detailed Estimates of such projects given in Indian Railway Code for the Engineering Deptt. This includes analysis of rates/ updation of LARS and working out cost of various components such as survey, investigations, studies, land and forest cost, roads, earthwork, protection works, bridges, buildings & structures, tunnels, signaling and telecom, tunnel ventilation, electrical & OHE works, Diesel traction works, workshops, E&M and Illumination, surveillance system, environmental cost, track works, other related and enabling works etc, as a complete job as per provisions in Indian Railway 16 Engineering Code. Part cost estimate of Civil, S&T, Electric works, Diesel traction and Electric traction (OHE) works shall be brought out separately. Note:- (i)The Estimate should be accompanied with detailed Report giving methodology and basis for adopting technical parameters, working out the quantities and analysed rates/ LARS adopted in the preparation of estimate. (ii) Quantities of land under various broad categories shall be worked out as per Right of Way required for construction and operation of railway line in consultation with NR. Rates of land shall be arranged from the concerned revenue authorities. (iii) Permanent way, Electrical, Signal & telecommunications, OHE mechanical facilities, buildings and structures etc requirements shall be worked out in consultation with NR. Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment will be released after submission of Project Cost Estimate report. (b) 20% payment will be released after approval of Project Cost Estimate report by Railway Authorities.

Detailed Geological mapping consisting of structural (Faults/ thrusts, Shear zones, Fold, joints etc), litho-logical and tectonic mapping on the proposed alignment for a corridor width of 100 m on either side of alignment in scale1:5000 and submission of geological plan, L- section along the design alignment in scale1:5000 H & 1:500 V as well as in scale 1:5000 H & 1:5000 V. Rates includes: (i) Geological field work collecting data beyond the corridor on either side of alignment for developing the geological model. (ii) Study of 5 km wide Aerial LIDAR & Imagery data derivatives for Geological aspects such as Land Slides and Fault detection (iii) The output 8 of the rough field Work shall also be submitted. (iv) 3D geological modeling software shall be used to develop geological model and submissions shall also be in editable format. The work includes service of engineers, scientists, surveyors, draftsman, CAD operators, labours, helpers and others (computer, printers & tracing etc.) Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment shall be released after completion of field work, collection of data and submission of geological mapping report. (b) Balance 20% payment shall be released after acceptance of report by Railway Authorities. Note: The quantity may change as per the geology and topography of the alignment finalized. However, alignment involving all tunnels, cuttings and bridges will be covered under this item. The location and the quantity shall be decided and executed with the approval of employer.

PERMANENT CONTROL (CP) POINT PILLARS Construction of cast in-situ Permanent Control Point pillars of size 500mm x 500mm x1000mm of RCC (Nominal Mix1:12:3) with provision of 700mm long M.S. angle of size 50 x 50 x 5 mm with brass nailing on the MS angle for marking the Control Points and embossing the 6 CP pillar number on the MS plate of size 125mm x125mm x 5mm embedded in concrete by four 6mm dia rods 150mm long as per approved drawing. The work included cost of material such as cement, reinforcement, aggregates; Tool & Plants, all lead & lifts, labour, shuttering, curing etc. as a complete job. Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment shall be released after casting of pillars. (b) Balance 20% payment shall be released after fixing and joint verification at site by Railway Authorities.

Photogrammetry Survey Detailed Topographic Engineering Grade Survey using Modern Survey Technology (Unmanned Aerial Survey (UAS) /Drone) at portal locations, Bridges, Yard, along the 19 nallas/rivers/khads and other specified locations other than over the tunnels along the alignment as per deliverables and specification given in Item no. Of Section-4: TOR. It includes establishing additional ground Control Points(GCP) at every approx. 200m distance by Real Time Kinematic (RTK) / Electronic Total Station survey, using existing Permanent Control Points.

Design of viable and feasible alignment for Access Roads to various proposed major work sites on the approved railway alignment and muck dumping areas wherever required, from the existing roads and staking with 100mm x 100mm x 750mm RCC pegs. The work will includesubmission of Plan and L-section as per Indian 2 Railway Engineering Code and Preliminary design, estimate of quantities, analysis of rates/updation of LARS for preparation of detailed Estimate and BOQ as per NR specifications purpose. for tendering purpose. Note (i) The roads shall be designed as per IRC specifications of Hill roads. (ii) The work includes cost of material such as cement, reinforcement, aggregates; Tool & Plants, all lead & lifts, labour, shuttering, curing etc as a complete job for RCC pegs.

STAKING & FIXING ALIGNMENT AND BOUNDARY PILLARS Casting and Fixing in place of Pre- cast/Cast-in-situ RCC (nominal mix 1:12:3) pillars of size 150mm dia x 900mm length on center line of the approved alignment which includes painting as per approved colour scheme, numbering and engraving of NR logo 7 on the pillars. The pillars shall be fixed at every 100m in straight alignment, at every 20m in curves as well as at ST, TC, CT, TS, Crown points of curve abutments and piers of bridges, start, center & end of stations, at tunnels portals etc. and at proposed railway land boundary. The work includes cost of material such as cement, reinforcement, aggregates; Tool & Plants, all lead & lifts, labour, shuttering, curing etc as a complete job. Stage Payment: (a) 80% payment shall be released after casting of pillars. (b) Balance 20% payment shall be released after fixing and joint verification at site by Railway Authorities.

Obtaining of Forest Clearance permission as per Forest Conservation Act 1980 and its 18 amendments by performing following activities: Joint verification of trees in specified forest area (not in the area above the tunnels except the tunnel portals) with Forest officials by physical marking and preparing details of trees as per format of Forest department.
