Module – 120 wp (12.8 volt) : (MNRE Approved) MONO a) The PV Module shall contain Crystalline silicon solar cells and must have MNRE certified. b) The power output of the modules under STC would be a minimum 120 wp at a load voltage of 20 (+/-) 0.2 V c) The open circuit voltage of the PV modules under STC would be 20 Volts. d) The module efficiency would be 14.5% e) A bird spike shall be provided to avoid bird sitting on the solar module at the highest point of the module structure. f) SPV module shall be highly reliable lightweight and shall be a service of life of more than 25 years .It shall have a limited power loss of not more than 10% of normal output at the end of 10 years and not more than 20% at the end of 25 years. g) The solar module shall be able to withstand the following environment at conditions normally encountered at the site – Temp. extremes ranging from 10’C to 85’C, wind load – 200 km/h, Max mean heavy rainfall of 40mm, Humidity level up to 95% h) Strip must contain the followings – Manufacturer name, model number, year of make.
