Dense Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, filler(Cement/hydrated lime /Rock dust) premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @4.0% (min) for Grading -1 and 4.5% (min) for Grading -2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11 and job mix formula as per clause 505.3.3 of MORT&H (5th Revision), including screening, cleaning of chips, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature, as specified in Table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5, all including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MORT&H (5th Revision) B. For Grading 2 (26.5 mm nominal size, 50-75 mm thick.) (i) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications.

(I) Cement concrete with graded stone ballast (40 mm size excluding shuttering) In ground floor (A) [Pakur Variety] (a) 1:3:6 proportion

Mechanised Mastic Asphalt : Providing and laying mastic asphalt (25mm th.) by mechanical means done in a centralised batching plant with appropriate built- in pollution control units with specified aggregates and lime stone powder (with Calcium Carbonate content not less than 80%) and approved grade of industrial grade bitumen as per approved design mix, transporting the hot mastic ashphalt to the worksite by thermocontainer with the arrangement of maintaing specified temperature during transport, laying with a paver finisher for spreading and floating the plastic mix uniformly on the surface to the specified width and thickness at correct grade and camber through its heated, distortion free steel float and turning sword distributors, applying uniform size of bitumen coated stonechips at a specified rate, on the laid surface through a power driven chip spreader as per the procedure laid down in Annexure - II of IRC : 107 (2013) all complete as per clause 516 along with IRC : 107 for materials and design mix etc. 25 mm thick

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per Sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (b) On steel or other metal surface : With super gloss (hi‐gloss) ‐ (iv) Two coats (with any shade except white)

M.S. structural works with hollow sections (square or rectangular shape) conforming to IS: 806-1968 & IS:1161-1998) connected to one another with bracket, gusset, cleat as per design, drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete including cutting to requisite shape & size, fabrication including metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816-1969 & IS: 9595 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of all M.S. Hollow section, all consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charges of all tools and plants and labour reqired for execution and all incidental chages (such as electricity, labour insurance) etc. complete. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural memebrs of MS Holow Section as specified in relevent IS code in finished work. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat may be made by adding the actual weight of such items with weight of finished structural members. The rates are considered for a hight of erection 8 m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5 % extra over the rate for Each additional floor or 4m. beyond the initial 8 m. or part thereof.ii) For other Structural works like galleries etc.

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii) Grading – II

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. (b) For Each additional Depth of 150mm and part thereof. (Depth up to 450 mm)

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) On Bituminous Surface (Using Bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 00.25 kg per Sqm.)

Retro-Reflectorised Traffic Signs Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminum sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). iii) 60 cm circular

PART D:- FOOTPATH, KERB AND RAILINGS Cast in Situ Cement Concrete M 20 Kerb with Channel Construction of cement concrete kerb with channel with top and bottom width 115 and 165 mm respectively, 250 mm high in M 20 grade PCC on M10 grade foundation 150 mm thick, kerb channel 300 mm wide, 50 mm thick in PCC M20 grade, sloped towards the kerb, kerb stone with channel laid with kerb laying machine, foundation concrete laid manually, all complete as per clause 409 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, hire and usage charges of machinery and all incidental charges in this connection.) A) Using Concrete Mixer

Supplying and laying in the specific pattern of inter locking concrete block pavement(ICBP) with concrete blocks ( with concrete grade as specified as per Table 1 of IS 15658:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamped to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure( as per clause no. 6.30 of IRC: SP:63(2018), fromm BIS licensee manufacturer , with spacer nib ( small protuding profiles on the vertical face of a paver block used as a device for keeping minimum joint gap in between the paving blocks, as per cl. no.3.26 of IS: 15658) and of specified size and shape with aspect ration ( The ratio of length to thickness of a paver block , as per cl. no. 3.3 of IS: 15658) as per Table 2 of IS : 15658 with flexural strength / breaking load as per Annexure‐ G of IS: 15658, on the prepared base course of specified C.B.R as per Table 1 of IRC SP 63 (2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a cushion of compacted bedding sand of 25‐35 mm thick ( grading of bedding sand as per clause 6.5.1 of IRC SP ‐63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand ( the grading of joint filling sand will be as pee clause 6.5.2 of IRC SP 63) and compacting the edges with ent blocks as per Cl.no 8.7 of IRC SP‐63(2018) with proper confinement of bedding and joint filling sand, compaction, levelling and filling up of the edge gap. 60 mm thick (i) Grey

PART A:- ROAD WORK Excavation in Soil using Hydraulic Excavator CK 90 and Tippers with disposal upto 1000 metres. Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 Cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto1000m as per Clause 301 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works)

Compacting Original Ground A. Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. (iii) Grading – III

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers I Road Studs I Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of Mirth's specification for Road &Sridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on Each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in foundation with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. E. RCC Grade M25 (ii) Height upto 5m II) Using Concrete Mixer

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii) On Granular surfaces treated with primer (Using Bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.275 kg per Sqm.)

PART B:- ROAD FURNITURE Kilometre Stone Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc. (ii) Ordinary kilometer stone (precast)

Add:- 18% (SGST=9% & CGST=9%)

Add:- West bengal Labour Welfare Cess=1%

Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete, in Well foundation with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete. as per drawing and tchnical specification. PART C:- RCC COVER DRAIN Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in foundation including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position reinforced cement polymer concrete manhole /gully pit cover with matching frame. As per I.S- 12592(M.D) (i) 35 MT load bearing capacity round manhole cover provided with two lifter hooks fitted with matching frame of size cover: 700 mm X 100 mm,Frame: 910 mm X 185 mm,opening: 560mm,Weight: 245 kg (approx)

Rumble Marking using two component cold plastic Providing and Laying of Rumble strips with 2 Component cold plastic profiled material to give total width of 500 mm and height of 10 mm. Ramp provided to give width of 145 mm, width of ribs to be 55mm laid at centre to centre distance of 35 mm, with reflective glass beads @ 350 gm / Sqm. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform and free from streaks and holes, to be applied on the edge lines, including secondary surface cleaning and cost of all materials etc. complete.

Fine Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating Each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand.
