Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m as per Clause 301 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Payment will be made on the basis of pre works and post works measurement

Compacting Original Ground A. Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Construction of Embankment with Material Deposited from Roadway Cutting. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD including carriage of material for a distance of 1 km. a) with earth obtained from box cutting

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. a) with Borrow Pits Earth (Payment will be made on the basis of pre works and post works measurement)

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. a) Carriage up to total lead of 2.0 km. Land owned / arranged by the contractor Royalty charges @ Rs. 29.00 per m3 and Cess charges @ Rs. 5.30 per m3 (i.e. Rs. 15.00 per 100 cft) have already been considered in the rate which shall only be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the Royalties and Cesses. Payment will be made on the basis of pre works and post works measurement

Supplying, spreading and compacting Fine Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary. (The payment is to be made on the basis of the finished compacted volume.)

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) GSB Grade – V

Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Bulk, SS-1) @ 0.85kg/m2 of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For WBM/WMM Surface. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished surface area)

Providing and applying Tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Bulk, RS-1) of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Bituminous Surfaces. [By using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Bulk, RS-1) @ 0.25 kg/m2] (Payment will be made on the basis of finished surface area)

Providing and applying Tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Bulk, RS-1) of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On Granular surfaces (WMM) treated with Primer [By using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (Bulk, RS-1) @ 0.275 kg/m2] (Payment will be made on the basis of finished surface area).

Dense Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense Bituminous Macadam with Batch Type Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregate (Pakur variety) of specified grading, filler(Hydrated Lime) Premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @ 4.5%(min) for Grading-2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11and Job Mix Formula as per Clause 505.3.3 of MORT&H(5th Revision), including screening, cleaning of chips, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature as specified in table 500-2 with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyre roller of 12-15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 Mpa to achieve the desired density as per Clause 505.3.5, all including cost and carriage of bitumen, crushed aggregates, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Grading -2 Using VG-30 (Bulk) Bitumen Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. Using Pakur Variety of stone aggregates of required sizes. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)

Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying bituminous concrete with Hot Mix Plant using coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler materials and bituminous binder of required specification including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix in Hot Mix Plant and ensuring a homogeneous mix, in which all particles of the mineral aggregates are coated uniformly, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, including cost and carriage of bitumen, coarse and fine aggregates and filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, fuels and lubricants and wages of operational staff complete as per Clause 507 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Grading 2 30 mm Compacted Thickness Using VG-30 (Bulk) Bitumen Using Pakur Variety of stone aggregates of required sizes. Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)

Labour for mixing stable anti- stripping agent of approved quality conforming to Table -A 5 - 1 of Appendix-5 of specification for Road & Bridge Works of MORT&H(Rev-4) to the binder @ 0.5% to 1% by weight of binder (depending up on size & stripping value of the aggregates ) and allowing 15 to 30 minutes of circulation or stirring in the hot bitumen tank to ensure a homogeneous mix of binder and anti- stripping agent for different bituminous works as per Technical Specifications in given n Appendix - 5 of specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (Rev-4) and direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete.

Supplying and Laying in the specifiedc pattern of interlocking concret block pavement (ICBP) with concrete blocks (with concrete grade as specified as per Table 1 of IS : 15658:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamped to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure (as per cl. no. 6.30 of IRC :SP:63 (2018), from BIS licensee manufacturer, with spacer nib (Small protruding profiles on the vertical face of paver block used as a device for keeping minimum joint gap in between the paving blocks, as per CL.No 3.26 of IS:15658) and of specified size and shape with aspect ratio (The ratio of length to thickness of a paver block, as per Cl. No. 3.3 of IS:15658) as per table 2 of IS : 15658 with flexural strength / breaking load as per Annexture G of IS:15658, on the prepared base course of specified CBR as per Table 1 of IRC SP 63 (2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a cushion of compacted bedding sand of 25-35 mm thick (grading of the bedding sand as per clause 6.5.1 of IRC SP-63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand (the grading of the joint filling sand will be as per clause 6.5.2 of IRC SP 63) and completing the edges with cut blocks as per Cl. Water Bound Macadam Sub Base Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening : By consolidating jhama metal @1.09 m3 / m3 with moorum screening @ 0.26 m3 / m3 (loose volume). (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume).

Part-B (ROAD FURNITURES AND SINAGE WORKS)

R.C. Metal Beam Crash Barrier A Type - A, "W" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 andIS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per Clause 811.3 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers / Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road &Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national / international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Part-C (CROSS DRAINAGE WORKS)

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structures comprising of brick masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the erviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m as per echnical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by mechanical means (using excavator of suitable capacity). Depth upto 3 m With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Bedding for Pipe Laying concrete cradle bedding with M15 Grade Cement Concrete as per Clause 1105 (i) for Rural Roads of MORD i) Type A (Concrete Cradle) Bedding

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, cross-drain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. Where staging is not required.

Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of(Pakur Variety) appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works. M-15 Grade Using Pakur Variety of stone aggregates of required sizes. By using Concrete Mixer Machine.

Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of(Pakur Variety) appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works. M-20 Grade Using Pakur Variety of stone aggregates of required sizes. By using Concrete Mixer Machine.

Providing and Laying Reinforced Cement Concrete Pipe NP4 as per design in Single Row Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP4 with spigot socket for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing with cement mortar 1:2 as per Technical Specification Clause 1106 for Rural Roads of MORD. Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.

Part-D (PCC DRAIN WORKS)

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures upto 3 m depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1104 for Rural Roads of MORD including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material.

Protection of embankment nearly 3000mm away from the edge line of the proposed carriageway by closely driven 150mm diameter eucalyptus ballah each of 4500mm total length, driven 2925mm into ground or bed of pond / water body in standing water condition, @ 350mm centre to centre with 1575mm exposed height of each ballah including fittings of three numbers 100mm diameter half splited eucalyptus ballah Runner filted& fixed two on top of each face of close ballah walling and one on middle height of it, along full length of the walling including 100mm diameter, 1350mm long eucalyptus ballah Tie fitted @ 2450mm centre to centre with Tie-Post anchoring by driving 100mm diameter, 1350mm long eucalyptus ballah Tie- Post, driven 1100mm into ground on the road side of protection line and placing one layer of earth filled gunny bag (@ not less than 25nos. bag per running meter length of protection line) just after ballah work on the road side of protection line including filling of remaining recess / caving portion between embankment and ballah walling by carried earthwork (not less than 1.911m3 per running m. of protection line) withmanual compaction after proper bench-cutting of the existing embankment profile for proper placement of earth and to achieve finished earth filled slope as per directions including supplying eucalyptus ballah, coal-tar, nails, bolts, empty gunny bags etc and labour charges for cutting, splitting ballah, coal tarring to each ballah, driving charges for driving ballah into ground / bed of pond in standing water condition, fitting fixing charges for Runner & Tie, including cost of earth for earth filling and earth-bag work including excavation charges & labour charges for manual compaction, including gunny bag filling (by earth), stitching & placing earth filled bag to the desire location after proper bench cutting of the embankment portion between ballah walling and damage flank all complete in all respect as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in- Charge. (Mode of measurement: on the basis of finished protected length of embankment complete in all respect as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge).
