Making barricading of excavation trenches of road width upto 15mtr. to avoid any accident by providing 75mm dia bamboo post placed vertically & horizontally with the help of 6”size iron rail as per direction and satisfaction of EIC. (Applicable where critical situation arise and take up the work as per direction of EIC) [PHE-2019 Page No-L23 Item No-19]

Supply & delivery of MS Pipe. as per standard specification 400 mm dia (internal) 8 mm thick [PHE2012 P-29 IT-08,IX]

Field welding of machined ends of pieces of M.S pipes and specials for laying the same inside trench/over ground by means of electric arc welding as per relevant IS specification using standard electrodes including edge preparation and charges of deployment of electric generator set with fuel, lubricant, and all other tools and plants all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. [ Engineer-in-charge shall approve the electrodes for arc welding before use ] Throat thickness - 08 mm [UDMA Page-12 Item. No-2.3.4]

Supplying, fitting and fixing of C.I. Mechanical Compression Long Sleeve Collar Coupling (popularly known as Cut-N-Repair Coupling) suitable for jointing C.I. Spun Pipes (as per IS: 1536) and D.I. Pipes (as per IS: 8329) with BS:1211 Class-B Pipes. The Couplings will be supplied complete with Sealing Rubber Gasket of EPDM quality (IS:5382/1985 Type-4), Cast Iron Follower Glands and Mild Steel (Zinc Coated) Nut Bolts . The whole assembly should be mechanically and hydraulically tested to the provisions as laid down in IS: 1538. Fitting and fixing should be in proper position with proper care of main pipe line for leak proof condition. Diameter in mm with minimum barrel pipe length in mm. 400mm with length 400mm. Supplying including cost of installation of D.I. Dismantling Joints is a variable length Double Flanged Short Piece constituted by a flange / Spigot Tailpiece inserted into the other Tailpiece which allows the distance between the two flanges to be varied within certain limits thus providing a variable distance piece between two fixed flange end devices like Pumps and Valves. The Dismantling Joint to be supplied complete with Sealing Rubber Gaskets of EPDM quality (IS:5382/1985 Type-4), Cast Iron Follower Glands and Mild Steel (Zinc Coated) Nut Bolts as per manufacturer specification. The whole assembly should be mechanically and hydraulically tested to the provisions as laid down in IS: 1538. Fitting and fixing should be in proper position with proper care of main pipe line for leak proof condition. Diameter in mm with minimum barrel pipe length in mm. 1000mm with length 315 to 490mm.

Filling in foundation 'or plinth by fine sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating same by thorough saturation with water and ramming complete, including the cost of supply of sand. (Payment to be made on measurement of finishe.d quantity). (b). By fine sand.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initial 8m. or part thereof. Carriage of different type of departmental pipes from Divisional/Sub-divisional store to the work site by truck including loading, unloading, stacking etc. including cost of fuel, lubricant and also cost of driver, helper etc. and all other taxes and charges as applicable as per direction of EIC a) Any distance upto 5 Km [PHE-2019 Page No-L23 Item No-18,a]

Carrying CI/DI pipes with specials and valves and lowering placing in position and laying carefully inside the trenches in proper alignment and gradient etc. including earth work in excavation of adequate width as per specification having min. clear cover from top of pipe is 1.10mtr. below existing ground level in any kind of soil including mixed with boulder, road sub-grade and its flank,but excluding moorum and laterite and stone etc.without damaging the exisiting telephone/electric cable etc.(in case of damaged if any type of cable line during excecution , necessary damaged charges as applicable by the respective authority will be borne by the agency in his own cost) preparing the bottom surface for continuous bedding of pipe line and laying pipes, fitting, fixing specials and valves with bailing out water if any including carriage of pipes, specials and valves from local deptt. store within 8KM and back filling the trenches with excavated earth in layers to original condition as per specification and direction of EIC. The surplus materials after execution of work are to be return to the deptt. store.N.B: i) Any deviation from required clear cover of 1.10mtr., due to site adverse condition, prior permission is to be obtained from the EIC in exceptional situation and payment will be made on prorate basis over the rate of entire item ii) No payment will be made without hydraulic test of the pipe line either part or full iii) The pipes, specials and valves , rubber gasket will be supplied deptt. free of cost. i) 400mm dia.
