For built up sections / srtuctural members of specified sections weighing not less than 22.5 Kg./m.

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (A) On steel or other metal surface : With other than hi-gloss of approved quality- (i) Two coats (with any shade except white).

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (A) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less than 15 cm. (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.

Dismantling Steel Work in all Types of Sections upto a height of 5 m above Plinth Level excluding Cutting of rivet as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. (A) Including dismembering.

Loading, unloading and stacking by Manual Means: (A) Loading in to trucks at the lifting point, unloading at destination, stacking properly in go downs or yard etc. as directed including carriage by head load up to a lead of 50.00 m at each of the two points.

Labour for taking out brick-on-edge of herring bone bond including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Note: Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof.

For structural members of specified sections weighing less than 22.5 Kg./m.

Carriage of Cement (in bags), tar or asphalt (in drums), timber and similar miscellaneous materials over pucca road.

From 90m to 120m.

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (A) Brick-on-end edging (250 mm) depth.

Extra rate over Item No. 29 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre. (A) One extra lift.

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (A) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat (thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm).

Bricks.

Labour charges for taking out old wood work including cutting bolts and nuts and stacking within a lead of 100 metre etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantum should be corrected upto 3 decimels).

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length).

Lime, Moorum, Building rubbish and similar miscellaneous materials.

labour Charge for lifting and dismainting gangway & accessaries including removing bolts and nuts without damaging the same including lubricating the same for preservation to godown including cutting welding without carriage the steel members with neccessary scaffolding and machineries for lifting the gangway the all including chargs as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).

Removing old paint from blistered painted surface of steel or other metal by chipping including scraping and cleaning and exposing the original surface.

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

Labour for hoisting and placing in proper position (up to 1st floor level) departmental R.S. joists, channels, angles. Tees, plates etc. including fitting and fixing same with bolts and nuts, if necessary (but excluding cost of such bolts and nuts).

Coal tarring with 5% pitch including cost of material and labour complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge (A) Two Coat.

Extra rate for item no above for each additional lead of 60 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metre. (A) Two extra lead.

Installationof M.S steel Gangway including repairing and replacement of steel members.if necessary (excluding the cost of steel members) drilling, necessary holes, wealding (renewing of fresh12 mm) tightenning with bolts and nuts, if requred, supply of HYFG bolts of G.K.W made of requredsize with necessary washers (tightening to be cheacked with calibrated taught wrench) cleats, stiffeners,gusset plates including hoisting, erecting, fitting, fixing and assembling the Gangway with all labours,and materials etc. Complete with cost of red lead painting of approved brand after cleaning the surfaceproperly, placing the gangway properly to pontoon and fixed to yoke including fitting the yoke withall accessories with all scaffolding and providing all such facilities to execute and complete the workas per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,(tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag.

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (A) Where boats are not necessary.

Steel

Carriage of Brick over pucca road.

Welding in M.S. structural work with gas or electric: (A) Continuous weld.

Labour charges for old or new wood work including hoisting, fitting & fixing including supplying new nails and screws wherever necessary etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantum should be corrected upto 3 decimels).

Painting on steel or other metal surface with any approved bituminous anticorrosive paint after preparing the surface including removing paints, cleaning, smoothening etc. including scaffolding where necessary including cost of all materials complete. (A) Two Coat.

SUPPLY OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS AS PER APPROVED SPECIFICATION. (A) Silver Sand. Stacked at site.

Taking out bullah wailing pieces after removing nuts, bolts and iron nails and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work including sorting out and stacking serviceable meterials.

Taking out Jhaw / Eucalyptus piles from river bed or from elsewhere including carrying, stacking materials in the nearest stack yard. (A) Up to 17.5 cm. Diameter.

Best Seasoned wood work in shutters, posts, plates, rafters, battens, trusses, beams, purlins, bargas, wheel-guards, running boards, frames etc. including supplying at site, handling, hoisting, fitting & fixing in position excluding the cost of bolt and nuts only but including the cost of nails and screws with cost and carriage of all materials complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantum should be corrected upto 3 decimels) (A) Sal wood.

Carriage of Steel materials over pucca road.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.).

For each additional Depth of 150mm and part thereof.

Labour for taking out brick-on-end edging including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. (A) 15 cm av. Diameter. Note: 1) Payment to be made on the length driven into the ground. Diameter to be measured at 1.5m. from the thicker end.
