Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (ii) With pumping out water excluding shoring

Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. Compaction factor of dry clean sand is 0.835

Providing and laying boulders apron on river bed forprotection against scour with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg each complete as per drawing and Technical specification. Boulder Laid Dry Without Wire Crates.

Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification, in nominal mix proportion 1:1.5:3( corresponding to M20 Grade) with well graded 20mm down stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the surface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at worksite in position, over sand cushion,filter, layer, with cold (paper) joints between the adjacent units, having gap varying from 0 to 5 mm as tolerance, with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. With stone aggregate (Pakur, or broken stone of North Bengal Varieties)

Cast-in-situ cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification, in normal mix propotion 1:1.5:3 (corrsponding to M20 grade with well graded 20 mm down stone metal aggregate, laid in position by casting in alternative panels or otherwise to keep a gap of 12mm between the adjacent units, over polythene sheet of thickness not less than 100 to act as aseperator between the bottom surface of the block and the sand cushion/filter material laid below the blocks adding any additional cement and sand mortar ,curing and filling the gaps between the adjacent units by 5.6mm down coarse aggregate to be compacted properly, with all leads and lifts including supply and carriage of all materials, complete, without the cost of sand cushion/filter. (The rate is inclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site). (Stone Aggregate of Pakur or Rajmahal,or broken stone of North Bengal varieties)

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a)Pakur Varity

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. (b) Where staging is not required.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trench.

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 x 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm. is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)

Supplying RC spun pipe (NP2) and matching collar as per specification including loading, unloading,carriage and stacking properly at site as per instruction of Engineer in Charge inclusive of all taxes.

Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork &reinforcement works. (a) M-15 Grade Using concrete mixer.

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open foundation with or without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Substructure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. D) RCC Grade M20 (i) Height upto 5m I) Using concrete Mixer

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) a. Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT bars (SAIL/ TATA / RINL ) (Fe 415 /Fe 500 /Fe 500D, conforms to IS: 1786)

Dressing and chilchalling flanks or slope of embankment including filling with earth or cutting upto 150 mm. average thickness and ramming properly after sprinkling water.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length,fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section,consumables and labour required for the work including electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc.Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof.I) For structural members of specified sections weighing less than 22.5 Kg./m

(a) M.S.or W.I. Ornamental grill of approved design joints continuously welded with M.S, W.I. Flats and bars of windows, railing etc. fitted and fixed with necessary screws and lugs in ground floor.r (Add extra @ 1% for each addl. floor upto 4th floor and @ 1.25% for each addl. floor above 4th floor) (i) Grill weighing above 10 Kg./sq.mtr and up to 16 Kg./sq. mt

Patching of damaged concrete surface with polymer concrete (25 mm nominal thick) and curing compounds, initiator and promoter, available in present formulations, to be applied as per instructions of manufacturer and as approved by the Engineer.

Providing and inserting nipples with approved fixing compound after drilling holes for grouting as per Technical specifications including subsequent cutting/removal and sealing of the hole as necessary of nipples after completion of grouting with Cement/Epoxy.

Sealing of crack / porous concrete with Epoxy Grout by injection through nipples complete as per clause 2803.1.

Earthwork in re-excavation / silt clearance of drainage channels in all kinds of soil including sludge and slush but excluding slush mixed with industrial wastes, sewage, municipal garbage, carcasses, etc and depositing the same as per profile in proper place as directed by the Engineer-in-charge without causing hindrance to traffic and posing health hazard and making arrangement to maintain the site in workable condition including removal of polypacks, brickbats, remnants of bullah & bamboo pins and all kinds of waterhyacinth, solid / semi solid compact mass formed due to water hyacinth and burning them to ashes or removing outside Govt land where necessary and removal of thick & thorny jungles upto 30 cm girth including shoring and shuttering, if required, and including initial removal of sludge and slush etc by pan or bucket if required, and making arrangement for bailing out of any seepage water and removal of sand or soil blown from underneath, all complete. (Measurement : Pre-work and Post-work level section.
