Structural steel of various sections and grade as per approved drawings from approved manufactures at various works sites including cutting, drilling, welding/riveting cold/hot bending, threading, leveling, aligning, fixing in position of all rods , supports ,gusset/wall plates ,providing all accessories such as nuts and bolts and washers , tie rods providing timber struts and pre-stressing by blocking against rock/ soil including all lead and lift from fabrication yard to erection site. etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge . The rate includes all labour, tools, plants, machinery, materials, consumables, transportation, Excise Duty, Sales Tax, freight charges, , toll tax, and including loading, unloading, testing, handling, rehandling etc. to be done by Contractor at their own cost etc, 2 complete and as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge. Calculation of weight for payment will includes all structural steel, tie rods, wall plates, base plates, nuts and bolts washers etc. which are part of the permanent steel supports in the tunnel shown in approved drawings. Note: Rate includes cover supports &scaffoldings required during the course of erection etc. complete. (B) Supplying approved quality structural steel (Manufactured by SAIL / RINL / TATA /TISCO) conforming to relevant IS code and specification as mentioned in the approved drawings for permanent support in tunnels. Payment under this item shall be made for the net quantity excluding wastage due to cutting, bending welding, threading etc. complete. The payment of nuts & Bolts, plates etc. required for erection in position, shall be made in this item after fixing/erection at site. (1) Stage Payment :- (a) 75% of the payment on supply of steel to the site of work or approved workshop against irrevocable Bank guarantee or Indemnity bond (as the case may be) and on necessary production of records. (b) Balance 25% payment after fabrication and erection of steel components satisfactory inside tunnel in all respects. (2) No wastage shall be payable.

Providing Flood Level Gauges on abutments and piers, made by 20mm thick 1:4 cement plaster for a width of not less than 300mm, duly engraving 10 markings & figures in metres, divided into 10 parts commencing from under-side of girders towards bed, painting markings & figures with black enamel paint in three coats on white background including painting HFL Mark in white by side of gauge with year of occurrence with all Contractor's materials, labour, tools, scaffolding and supports, lead & lifts, curing etc. complete as per approved drawing and as directed by the Engineer in- charge excluding cost of cement which shall be paid extra.
