Note: For this item - Total sleepers length of 1in 8.5 Sleepers put together are 225.84 linear meters. Contractor will also be asked to do the work in connection with 1 in 12 turn out set,, Derailing switch set Sleepers as well under this item for which payment will be made on prorata basis as per the linear meters cast for respective lay outs.

Generation of steam for steam curing of casted PSC sleepers at CSP/SFG with the help 17 of steam coal fired boiler including arrangement of steam coal Gr.B/Bio-Fuel(Agricultural Husk Briquettes) including maintenance & repair of Boiler at CSP/SFG/ALD as per special condition attached. Size of steam chambers are 13.00 M x 1.00 M x 5.00 M.

"Leading cement in bags, coal-tar, asphalt, paint by truck, trailers etc. for lead up to 0 to 10 km. Note: Lead under this item is payable when the same exceeds 500 m."

Manufacturing and supply of Wedges capable of holding 3 x 3mm HTS wire strand 5 without permitting any slip/fail (When tensioned up to breaking load of 38.25 KN) and capable of giving service life minimum 20 uses as per drawing No. CSP/ALD/1166/01 as per tender schedule. Wedges (One set comprises of 2 Nos. wedge pieces).

Supply of wooden scantling of minimum 01 meter length and 60 x 60 mm size (Mango or any other soft wood locally available).

Providing & fixing of insert supports size 12mm x 12mm, Length 80 mm (M.S. Square). 10

Additional lead for every subsequent km or part thereof over 100 Km and up to 400 Km. (effective lead 300 km)(100 MT x 300 KM = 30000 MTKM)

60 Kg. 1 in 8.5 T/Out Sleepers Preparation, Casting, De-moulding and Feeding of Aggregates. Cleaning of moulds and benches, oiling of moulds, fitting of end plates, putting HTS wire strands, fixing SGCI Inserts & Dowels, fixing Wedges and Barrels, fixing rod and dowel cap etc. Casting of sleepers in the already prepared benches using high frequency shuttering vibrator at appropriate locations. Casting cubes for steam curing and water curing. Pulling casted benches with the help of 2 pulling hoist and putting the same in the steam chamber etc. Work includes cleaning of mixer & distributor. De-moulding of PSC sleepers from sleeper mould including cutting of HTS wire at sleeper ends, grinding of inserts if required to suit the dimensional requirements, numbering/ marking on sleepers and cleaning of inserts and dowel holes, feeding of de-moulded benches up to roller bed of preparation area. Feeding of aggregate from stacks to mixer hopper and leading of cement from store to production shed, cutting of cement bags and feeding in hopper as per spl. Condition. Note: Total sleepers length of 1 in 8.5 Turnout Sleepers put together are 225.84 linear meters. Contractor will also be asked to do the work in connection with Derailing Switch set, 1 in 12 Turnout set and Scattered Sleepers etc. as well under this item, for which payment will be made on pro-rata basis as per the linear meters casted for respective lay outs (i.e. Rate of one set 1 in 8.5 Turnout Sleepers (X) Layout Length of particular type of Turnout Sleepers / 225.84 meters). Handling of demoulded 1 in 8.5 T/out PSC sleepers to curing tank after end painting by anticorrosive paint. Taking out water cured sleepers, again end painting by anticorrosive paint and stacking at nominated location in stacking yard as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Laying of 1 in 8.5 T/Out PSC sleepers on linking bed in proper sequence, linking of turnout sleepers to correct layout for inspection. Delinking the inspected sleeper sets and stacking them at nominated places including testing for electrical resistance for their fitness for use in track circuited area as per special conditions to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge. Note- However for this item deduction will be made @ 3.32% of accepted rate in case of isolated turnout sleepers.

General electrical maintenance & Repair of Mixer, Batching plant, Screw conveyor, EOT cranes, Demoulding Hoist, Pulling Hoist, Hydraulic Pump, Compressor etc. by deploying 01 skilled and 03 unskilled labour daily. 20

General electrical maintenance & Repair of sleeper handling equipments including 26 replacement of various defective/worn out parts, connection leads supplied by Railway and other miscellaneous electrical repair related with sleeper handling equipments etc. by deploying 01 skilled and 01 unskilled labour daily.

Providing & fixing of Channel for mould rest ISMC 100 mm, 660 mm long including 04 nos ISA 50 x 50 x 90 side cleat.

Loading of ordinary/special PSC sleepers in Railway wagons/Trucks as per instruction of Engineer in charge.

Hiring of JCB machine (in good working condition) for leveling and dressing ground / 28 dismantling structures including disposal of debris through dumpers etc. with contractor's labour, JCB machine, machine operator, fuel etc. The contractor shall arrange road permit for vehicle for all the States of operation, as per instructions of engineer in-charge and vehicle shall not be more than three years old. Payment shall be made for actual working hours at site. 29

Loading / Unloading cement in bags, coal-tar, asphalt, paint etc. including lead up to 50 m and stacking properly into/from trucks, trailors or wagons.

General Mechanical Maintenance & Repair of Production Machines Like Mixer, Batching plant, Screw Conveyor, EOT Cranes, De-Moulding Hoist, Pulling Hoist, Hydraulic Pump, Compressor etc - including oiling, greasing, replacement of worn out parts and maintenance of structural steel 16 components of the mechanical structures and machines. Carrying out different repairing activities welding, cutting, bending, straightening, grinding, drilling, bolting etc. with all equipments like welding machine, gas cutter with gas cylinders, cutter machine, grinder, chain pulley etc. with all consumables like gas, electrodes, grinding wheel, drill machine, cutting wheel etc. and man power 02 skilled labour (including one Welder/Gas Cutter) and 04 unskilled labour to carry out different petty repairs at CSP/SFG/ALD.

Providing and fixing of spare parts of boiler from OEM/ Open Markets at CSP/SFG/ALD as per special condition attached .

Supply of Buildplast Super-2000(M) Concrete superplasticiser.

Providing and fixing guide rod 25 mm dia, 350 mm long and vertical strips 400 x 65 x 10 mm with one hole 25 mm dia for rectification of stress benches (01 Job = 02 nos guide rod, 02 nos vertical strips, 02 nos side cleat) 9

Carrying out different activities like collecting sleeper for testing, applying lime wash 24 on sleepers to be tested, pushing up to SBT M/c, collecting samples for moisture analysis & sieve analysis and other day to day work related with laboratory testing and providing assistance in various actives related with inspection of sleepers like handling and applying different gauges on PSC sleepers for measurements of camber and other dimensions of sleeper by deploying 03 unskilled labour daily.

Supply & Fixing of 6 mm dia. MS Rod stirrups in sleeper to be casted vide item NS-1B. 3 Note-1: Length of one set (1 in 8.5 T/O) = 225.84 m. Total length of 120 sets = 120 x 225.84 = 27100.8 mtrs (Consumption of 6 mm dia. MS Rod in one set of 1 in 8.5 T/O = 970 nos. each 770 mm length). Payment of this item will be made for consumption per set. Note-2: Binding wire required for binding of stirrups will have to be provided by contractor for which nothing extra will be paid.
