The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to their average annual contractual turnover, which must be a minimum of V/N or 'V' whichever is less. Here, V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated based on the total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. Additionally, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Substantially completed work refers to an ongoing work where payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. Similar work is defined as any P.
