The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder needs to attach a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge for the work performed. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least five similar works with the following values: - 80 percent of the estimated cost of work in at least one work - 50 percent of the estimated cost of work in at least two works - 40 percent of the estimated cost of work in at least three works. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least 150 percent of the estimated cost of works (excluding maintenance cost for five years) in any three years, with an indexing rate of 8 percent per year. To qualify for the award of the Contract, each bidder should have in the last five years: a) Achieved in any Five year a minimum financial turnover (in all cases of engineering construction works only) volume of construction work of at least 150 percent to the estimated cost of works (excluding maintenance cost for five years )for which bid has been invited. b) Satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least five year similar work 80 percent & two work 50 percent & three work 40 percent in value of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited.
