The new DG selection should be finalized with the approval of the employer. 2. Supply of Compatible class approved New DG sets with equivalant capacity of exisitng DG sets. 3. Prepare and submit class approved plan for the installation of new DG sets. Fabrication of foundation as per the Class approved drawing including modifications, additional strengthening of existing plates, frames, stiffeners and foundation. 4. Plan and make adequate arrangements in hull / platform external and internal as per approved execution plan for removal of existing old DG sets and transfer of new DG sets in position. After sucessful transfer of new DG sets, the opening shall be made good and the joints shall be tested for weld crack NDT tests, leak tests, APT shall be carried out as required to the satisfaction of IRS / MMD surveyor. 5. Installation of new DG set in position and sync with control panels including modification of Fuel, Air, Lubes, Cooling Water, Exhaust Pipelines etc. Any modification of electrical works, cabling, ventilation duct opening with respect to new engine need to be done as required by the yard. 6. All engine sensors cable from engine junction box to Engine start / stop / safety control panel in Local and ECR are to be renewed. Alternator Power Cables to Main Beaker in ECR to be renewed. Any modification of ACB, PMS, Synchro panel, etc. to be carried out. Installation for Battery for staring and charging etc. complete for commissionig of new DG sets. If required, any relocating of existing heat/smoke detectors and hyper mist discharge nozzle with respect to position of new engine need to be done. 7. After sucessful installation of new DG sets, testing shall be carried out as per the OEM manual and check and record performance of new DG sets at different loads up to 110% of its capacity. Arrangement of external load bank also yard scope. 8. Remove and land ashore the old DG set.
