AOC Description

Shifting of empty Oil barrels, 6000 LPH Oil filter machine set, supply cables, and oil hoses to the Unit No.2 GT bay (provided by KPCL). Disconnection of Local Coolers control cabinet along with Control cables, power cables, HV and LV bushing CT secondary cables, WTI HV, LV and OTI OIL gauges, immersion probes etc., of Generator Transformer. Disconnection LV bushings terminal flexible links, HV bushings terminal drake conductor jumpers and LAs jumpers. Disconnection of LV bushings bus duct expansion bellows flanges. Dismantling of Conservator tank, Mulsifyre pipeline and Coolers Oil and Water Inlet or Outlet pipelines. Conducting relevant pre and post Oil and Electrical tests including SFRA, Tan delta and Winding resistance, Oil BDV and water content etc., by NABL certified testing Agency. Draining of GT oil into old storage tank through centralized Oil pipeline system with the help of suitable pump. Safely Dismantling of HV and LV bushings, Turrets with the help of Hydra Crane (Contractor scope) and closing with dummy flanges. Disconnecting winding Lead conductors of HV and LV Bushings. To check the tightness of LV bushing winding lead connections for any possible loose connections and also to inspect internal contacts of Tap changer circuit. Collecting HV winding cellulose paper samples from all 3 phases and send it to NABL certified testing Agency (Ms. CPRI or PGCIL) for DP test. Supply and replacement of complete Gaskets or O ring of 115 MVA, 11/220 kV, 3 Phase, 50Hz, BHEL make GT 2 of SGS including Bell Tank (Main tank band gasket, LV box gaskets, LV bushing gaskets, gaskets for neutral bushing, neutral turret, tap changer handle connection, cooler system, HV, LV, NBCT terminal plate gaskets etc.). Making temporary dry out set up or arrangement to avoid entry of rainy water or moisture during drying process in the existing GT bay or location. Installation of grid heaters around the GT and hot air blower for drying process. GT Vacuum Drying process until Dew Point values at around -25 Deg.C at a temperature 40 Deg.C shall be achieved as per CBIP norms. 2 Nos of Oil samples (Before and After Oil filtration process) to be tested including DGA and Furan analysis at NABL certified testing Agency (Ms. CPRI or PGCIL). Main tank pressure vacuum testing for 24 hrs. Oil filtration process to be completed before filling Oil into the main tank of GT. Oil filling into the main tank of GT to be carried out under vacuum. Necessary GT Metal parts Painting touch up work to be carried out wherever affected during Dry out process. Re installation of HV and LV bushings, turrets, conservator tank, cooler cabinet and dismantled coolers, mulsyfire pipe lines. Cooler control or power cable, HV and LV bushing CT secondary wiring or termination work and coolers pump local or remote operations testing. Re installation of WTI HV, LV and OTI OIL gauges. Reconditioning or Replacement of 02 Nos. 150 NB Gate valves, 04 Nos. 150 NB Butterfly valves, 01 No. 100 NB Butterfly valve and modification of cooler pipeline if required. Pre commissioning checks and relay functions testing in coordination with KPCL Engineers. Dynamic heat run (Short circuit test) will be carried out by KPCL in the presence of Firm s representative. Idle Charging and observation of GT for 24 Hrs. (Slow voltage build up) will be carried out by KPCL in the presence of Firm s representative. Observation of GT at full load condition for 48 hrs, recording the HV winding, LV winding and Oil temperatures for any abnormalities shall be carried out by the firm. Winding insulation grading to be carried out where ever samples have been collected for DP test and other parts of the winding.
