South Central Railway Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in the similar nature of work, which is defined as "Design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of passenger Elevators with or without AMC at Railway stations or Metro stations or Airports or in any Office/Service buildings or Hospitals of Central Govt./State Govt./PSUs of Central or State Govt." The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. The bidder should submit a list of works completed in the last seven financial years, giving description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award and date of scheduled completion of work. Date of actual start, actual completion and final value of contract should also be given. Additionally, the bidder should provide a list of works on hand indicating description of work, contract value, and approximate value of balance work yet to be done and date of award. Supportive documents/certificates from the organizations with whom they worked/are working should be enclosed to verify the list of works completed and list of works on hand. The bidder should also provide work experience certificate, signed by an officer not below the rank of JA Grade or bill passing officer in Railways, for works costing above Rs.50 lakhs.
