The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (b) Mechanical and Manual Coarse Screen and Chamber (50 mm): Designing, providing, constructing, testing and commissioning of coarse screen chamber, designed for peak flows ( 2.25 X DWF) in RCC (M-30), including inlet pipe/channel from inlet chamber, outlet pipe / channel to wet well, free board of 0.5 m minimum, RCC walkway 1.2m width with SS Railing of SS304 grade, RCC staircase of 1.2m width from GL to screen chamber. The manual screen shall be standby. Belt conveyors shall be provided to collect the screenings. The material of construction of the Screens shall be Stainless Steel 304. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(c) Wet Well/Raw Sewage Sump cum Pump House: Designing, providing and constructing RCC M30 Wet Well/Raw sewage Sump cum pump house for the peak flow including necessary excavation in all types of strata, erection of necessary Pumps and Motors with 50% Standby arrangements, Panels, electrical, mechanical equipments, lifting arrangement with EOT Crane and all instruments including walkway all around the periphery, DI piping arrangement, DI Valves and other accessories, Required control panels, Wet well have SS 304 grade pipe railing etc., The Pumping stations shall be designed as per guidelines provided by the Hydrulic Institute Standards (HIS).The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(d) Stilling Chamber: Designing, providing and constructing RCC M30 stilling chamber for the peak flow of 2.25 DWF including necessary excavation in all types of strata including walkway all around the periphery. Each compartment will have phosphor, bronze, steel gates with extension road, head stock, operating wheels, SS Railing of SS 304 grade etc. The work includes providing and making necessary arrangements to connect the flow to screen chamber by approach channel as directed and as per specifications. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(e) Fine Screen Chamber (6 mm) (1 Mechanical and 1 Manual) with conveyor arrangement : Designing, providing, constructing, testing and commissioning of screen chamber, designed peak flow of (2.25 X DWF) in RCC (M-30), including inlet pipe/channel from inlet chamber, outlet pipe / channel to detritus tank, free board of 0.5 m minimum, RCC walkway 1.2m width with SS Railing of SS 304 grade, RCC staircase of 1.2m width from GL to screen chamber with manual Standbye Screens (10 mm openings) with mechanical conveyor systems for the screenings. All the screens shall be of SS 304. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(f) Mechanical Degritting arrangement with scraping mechanism, Screw Classifier and ORP, 1 Manual Degritting arrangement: Designing, providing and constructing continuous grit removal type of detritus tank, mechanically operating in RCC M30 capable of removing >95% 0.2m size particle and above, having specific gravity 2.30 designed for peak 2.25 DWF with suitable arrangement of separation of grit from putrescible solids. Inlet and outlet channels of required sizes as maybe required to connect the flow to connecting unit etc., complete including hydraulic testing for water tightness of structure having minimum FB of 0.3m, wash out arrangement to Grit chamber and platform 1.2m wide RCC walkway with SS Railing of SS304 grade shall be provided. A pit for collecting grit conveyed by conveyor shall be provided. Screw classifier and ORP, 1 Manual degriting arrangement shall be provided. All arrangements shall be as per detailed specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The MOC of mechanical equipment shall be SS 304. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(g) Parshall Flume : Designing, providing, constructing, testing and commissioning of Parshall Flume designed for average 1DWF and maximum peak flow of 2.25 DWF in RCC (M-30) to measure the flow. All the arrangements shall be as detalied specifications and as directed. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (II)SECONDARY TREATMENT:- (i) SBR Basins (2 Nos): : Designing, providing and constructing in RCC M30, SBR basins (2 nos.) for biological removal of BOD along with nitrification, denitrification, Bio-P removal in compartments to handle combine flow of 2.25 Dry Weather Flow incoming flow and recirculation flow including construction of selector compartments (if required) and providing 1.2m wide clear approach walkways, expansion joints wherever necessary, including foundations etc as per specifications. Peak factor shall be 2.25, complete with air blowers sufficient for peak BOD load requirments, fine diffused aeration grid / equipment and FB 0.5m and SWD as required. DO level in basin to be minimum 2 mg/l complete with ?Oxygen Uptake Rate? control system and all related instruments stainless steel decanters and all related actuating gates , valves, Instruments & automation works. The design criteria shall be considered from CPHEEO. The system should also include provisions to dose Alum for Phosporous removal and all the associated equipment viz. dosing pumps , dosing tanks. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (j) Twin Lobe Air Blowers with 50% standby, MSEP piping, header arrangement and UPVC laterals and fixed tube diffuser arrangement, The Plant should be based on Dissolved Oxygen/Oxygen Uptake Rate Control with VFD driven Aeration Device.The Aeration System shall be designed for 110 % Capacity of the design Air requirement. The aeration Blower/Aeration Device shall be having 50% Installed standby unit. Air diffuser shall be of fixed tube arrangement. The wetted part of the aeration system of non-corrosive materials such as UPVC. Blowers shall be housed in process air blower building. The minimum area of the building is 20 sq.m. and height of 5m (min). MSEP piping, header arrangement and UPVC laterals shall be provided as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (k) Chlorine Contact Tank: Designing, providing and constructing chlorine contact chamber with min M30 grade concrete of adequate capacity to deal with 2.25 Dry Weather Flow. The chlorine contact tank should be desinged considering the rate of maximum decant flow per cycle and minimum contact time for the decanted flow shall be 30 mins. Chlorine dose shall be maintained as per standard provisions, including designing, providing and constructing water supply provision for chlorination, including providing dewatering and bypass arrangement jointing to final effluent mains and outlet weir etc., complete. The effluent quality should match with the standards as per Hon'ble NGT guidelines, CPCB, TSPCB, CPHEEO or any other government guidelines or rules amended from time to time and as detailed specification and as directed by engineer in charge.The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (l) Chlorinator and Chlorinator Room / Tonner Room: Designing, providing and constructing chlorinators with min. M30 grade concrete with vacuum type 2 Nos, with auto switch over facility and having capacity for dosage of adequate chlorine to ensure 99.99% coliform reduction as per obligatory provisions and detailed specifications with necessary provisions of having chlorinator room of adequate size. The chlorinator equipment shall include cost of chlorine cylinders/tonner, piping, valves, measuring and controlling equipments safety devices, lifting equipments, etc., complete as per IS-10553 (part ii) 1982. The tonner room should have minimum 3MT capacity crane for loading and unloading facility. Tonner storage should be distinctly isolated and should be for minimum storage as directed in the design specification and as per gas laws 1981 and factory act shall be provided. All other matching amenities shall be provided, 5 MT gantry rail shall be provided for full length of tonner room at 6 m height from level of tonner room, with outlet. The chlorinator room shall be constructed as per the standard specifications and design approved by the competent authority and as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (m) Sludge Sump along with 1 RAS and 1 SAS pump in each SBR basin: Designing, providing and constructing of sludge sump and pump house of appropriate size with M30 grade concrete, pumps, ceiling height minimum 6 m over sump for discharging sludge to centrifuge and recycling of flow for blending of sludge using DI pipe complete as per detailed specification and design approved by the competent authority. 1 RAS and 1 SAS pump in each SBR basin shall be provided.The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(n) Sludge Centrifuge Platform with Centrifuge / Screw Press Equipment with the necessary dozing arrangement with 50% standby: Designing, providing, constructing and installing including foundation in minimum M30 grade concrete etc., sludge centrifuge/Screw press to handle the flow of 1 day in 20 hours per unit with sludge dewatering unit drain etc., complete as per specification, sludge centrifuges/screw press equipment with the necessary dozing arrangement with 50% standby as per detailed specification mentioned in tender and obligatory provisions to be provided with satisfactory functioning. All associated ploymer dosing systems shall be provided. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (o) Inlet By-pass: Designing, providing and constructing appropriate suitable byepass arrangements for excess flow from the STP Inlet point to the outlet at the point shown on the drawing including necessary chambers for inspection and cleaning including necessary excavation, dewatering, refilling, concrete encasing / bedding concrete as per the approved plan and as directed by departmental officers. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(p) Piping work in DI-K9 class including DI Sluice Valves, Reflux Valves, CI Gates: Providing , laying and jointing pipes other than those already included in the above items for interconnection by pass drains, etc., of all units including adequate numbers of manhole chambers. The item includes excavations, refilling and hydraulic testing of pipes, valves, gates, accessories and cost of jointing materials. The items includes required channels with gates for interconnection of units by pass drains etc., for all units as directed etc., complete as per detailed specifications approved by Engineer in Charge. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(q) Providing Instrumentation and Automation works; Online COD Anlaysers, Suspended Solids Analysers, Flow meters for Raw, Sewage, Sludge Recircualtion line, Sludge Waste Line, Level transmitters in pump stations and sludge tanks, Flow transmitters, Level switches, DO transmitters, Pressure gauges, cabling, junction boxes; PLC, panel, cabling earthing, UPS, SCADA, Computers, printers etc. complete for automatic operation and monitoring of the Sewage Treatment Plant as per detailed specification and as directed by the Departmental officers. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(r) Electrical works: Providing Transformer, HT Panel, Motor control center, cables, cable trays, earthing, variable frequency drives and required DG sets etc. complete as per site load requirement and approved designs and drawings as approved by the competent authority and as directed by the departmental officers. (III)I & D STRUCTURES, BUILDINGS, ROADS & PATHWAYS, PARKING YARD AND COMPOUND WALL ETC., :- (s) I & D (Interception & Diversion) Structures :Designing, providing and constructing of I & D (Interception & Diversion) Structures near Bypass road and in STP premises wherever required.The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (t) Administrative Building cum Laboratory (G+1):Designing, providing and constructing administrative building, office cum laboratory including stores. This shall be a building having appropriate carpet area and ground floor and at first floor complete as per specifications including necessary excavation, foundation in RCC M25 framed structure Brick Masonary of 2nd Class in CM (1:4), 20mm thick cement plastering in CM (1:3) for internal and external walls, painting with primer and 2 coats of emulsion paint for internal and external walls and ceiling. Aluminium doors and windows with glass panels, vitrified tile flooring and skirting and all other allied items, fixtures, fastening, electrification arrangement, water supply and sanitary arrangement, with necessary office furniture etc. complete. The building will have laboratory on upper floor of administrative building and should be so centralized that it should not be attached with any unit but should have complete control of every unit as per laboratory equipment, beautification, telephone and intercom arrangement and wireless system, as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(u) MCC (Motor Control Center) Building: Designing, providing and construction of MCC and Control Room building. This shall be a building having adequate carpet area and complete as per specifications including necessary excavation, suitable foundation, RCC M25 framed structure Brick masonry, 20mm thick cement plastering in CM (1:3) for internal and external walls, painting with primer and 2 coats of emulsion paint for internal and external walls and ceiling, Aluminium Doors, Windows with glass panels, vitrified tile flooring and skirting and all other allied items, fixtures fastening electrification arrangement, water supply arrangement etc complete. The building should have beautification, telephone and intercom arrangement. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (v) Blower Room and Generator Room: Designing, providing and construction of Blower Room and Generator Room. These shall be buildings having minimum adequate carpet area and complete as per specifications including necessary excavation, suitable foundation, RCC M25 framed structure Brick masonry, 20mm thick cement plastering in CM (1:3) for internal and external walls, painting with primer and 2 coats of emulsion paint for internal and external walls and ceiling, Aluminium Doors, Windows with glass panels, vitrified tile flooring and skirting and all other allied items, fixtures fastening electrification arrangement etc complete. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(w) Staff Quarters: Construction of A-Type (1 No) and B-Type Quarters (4 Nos) as per standard specifications and as per the approved plan and design as directed by the departmental officers with RCC M25 grade concrete. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(x) Security Room: Designing, providing and construction of Security room. This shall be a building having minimum 9 Sq.M carpet area and complete as per specifications including necessary excavation, suitable foundation, RCC M25 framed structure Brick masonry, 20mm thick internal and external plastering of CM (1:3), Aluminium Doors, Windows with glass panels, vitrified tile flooring and skirting and all other allied items, fixtures fastening electrification arrangement, water supply arrangement etc complete. The building should have telephone and intercom arrangement. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(y) Providing approach road to STP and Internal drains, Roads and Pathways along with lighting, Yard lighting, Landscaping: Providing approach road to STP site in M30 grade CC pavement of 150mm thick over WMM of 150mm thick and DLC of 100mm thick as per standard specifications, Internal CC drains in M15 grade, CC roads in M30 grade and Pathways connecting all units of STP from the Main Gate along with Street Lighting for STP premises and Yard Lighting for STP Units including Land scaping and gardening in front of STP units as per the approved plan and design as directed by the departmental officers. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(z) Construction of Chemical Storage Room: This shall be a building having minimum adequate carpet area and complete as per specifications including necessary excavation, suitable foundation, RCC M30 framed structure Brick masonry, 20mm thick cement plastering in CM (1:3) for internal and external walls, painting with primer and 2 coats of emulsion paint for internal and external walls and ceiling, Aluminium Doors, Windows with glass panels, vitrified tile flooring and skirting and all other allied items, fixtures fastening electrification arrangement etc complete. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(aa) Construction of Parking Yard with lighting: A Steel structure with canopy for parking of vehicles a minimum of 50 sq.m with proper lighting arrangement. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers.(ab) Construction of Compound wall with MS gate: Compound wall with CRS Masonry basement upto 0.30 M above GL, RCC M25 grade footings @ 3.5m interval, Columns, Tie beams, Brick masonry wall in CM (1:5) of minimum of 1.80 M height above basement and with Coping with CC M20 grade including fixing of MS angles with barbed wire on top of wall with MS Main gate encircling all the STP Units as per the approved plan and design as directed by the departmental officers. The component shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. NOTES: 1. Fine screens (SS 304) are of mechanically cleaned type for working unit and manual bar screen type (SS 304) for standby unit. 2. Above 5 MLD capacity gas chlorinator shall be provided. 3. Boundary wall, gate, approach road to STP site with min of 7m width, internal plant roads, storm water drains, site clearance, landscaping is considered in scope. Plant road shall be 4.5m wide. 4. All water retaining structures are in M-30 grade of concrete and Fe500/550/550D from primary producers of steel. 5. Peak factor considered for design for plants 6 to 20 MLD is 2.25. 6. Structural design criteria approved by Competent Authority shall be applicable for design. 7. Hydraulic design of the plant shall be considered with free fall discharge of treated sewage to local water body (above HFL). Hydraulic loss shall be worked out for peak flow condition and shall not exceed 4.5m in any circumstances unless otherwise site specific condition and approved by Competent Authority. 8. Makes of equipment shall be approved by competent authority. 9. The rates includes excavation, refilling and throwing away extra stuff as directed by the Engineer in Charge. 10. All other details shall be as per design criteria and detail specifications approved by competent authority and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. 11. The components shall be constructed as per the approved plan and design approved by the competent authority and as directed by departmental officers. (V)O & M of Sewage Treatment Plant for 5 Years. Operation and Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant including manning, watch and ward, safeguarding the plant and premises, house keeping, maintaining the hygeinic conditions, plant operation as per CPHEEO norms, lab analysis and tests, report generation, record keeping, grit handling, sludge handling, maintenance and periodical repairs and replacements if any to all mechanical, electrical, instrumentation equipment of plant including generators, transformers, sewage pumps, motors, air blowers, yard lighting all other civil structures of the plant and all spares consumables, chemicals for uninterrupted and trouble free running of plant, ensuring the effluent standards as per Hon'ble NGT guidelines, CPCB, TSPCB, CPHEEO or any other government guidelines or rules amended from time to time and reporting to Department including all levies, duties, allowances, overheads, statutory payments to personnel deployed as directed by departmental Engineers etc complete for 5 years excluding Power Charges
