Providing and fixing RCC Joint protection chamber of 1.2M outer diameter with precast RCC rings /collars and RCC top & base covers as per standard design and drawing and filling sand as per directions of Engineer in charge with the following details. i) Chamber consists of Precast RCC ring/collar of outer diameter 1.2M, 0.4M height and wall thickness of 50mm with concrete mix of 1 : 2: 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design& drawing. ii) Base/bottom plate is of precast RCC 1.2M dia 50mm thickness with mix of 1: 2: 4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand (zone-III): 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design & drawing. iii)Top plate consists of 2nos semicircular plates each made of precast RCC cover 1.2M dia and 50mm thickness with concrete mix of 1 : 2: 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with necessary reinforcement as per standard approved design & drawing .

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in trenches to a width of 0.30m to 0.45m and for a depth of 1.65m as specified in the Standard Laying practices for Cables including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.65 m, including getting out the excavated soil and then refilling the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 m. (Length of trench is measured for payment.)

Splicing of all the fibers of OF cable laid at every joint within specified splicing loss range (=0.02dB) while testing with OTDR and making termination at the ends. All materials, Splicing Machine and labours except Joint Closer to be supplied by Bidder /Vendor). Joint Closures will be supplied by BSNL at stores.

Blowing of OFC Cable in cable trench as per the standard practices including allied works like replacing/refixing couplers, Sealing of PLB ends and refilling sand, refixing RCC covers and back filling in Joint chambers wherever required as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. (The rate includes loading, unloading, uncoiling and transportation of cables from BSNL designated stores to site of work. Length of cable is measured for payment).

Providing and fixing precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) Route/Joint indicator with indicator dimensions 0.125m*0.125m*1.05m) & fixing in position in cement concrete (0.35*0.2*0.15) ,finishing smooth, and painting and lettering etc all as directed by Engineer in charge ( Each indicator is counted for payment)

All kinds of soil

Boring at a depth of 1.65m using HDD method /Boring/Cutting Black Top or Concrete Road at Road Crossing etc including excavating entry and exit pits & pushing PLB Pipes up to 3 Nos maximum, reinstatement of road and other all operations involved as per directions of Engineer in charge.(Length of Bore/ Length of reinstated road as the case may be is measured for payment)

Laying OF PLB /HDPE PIPE 40-50mm dia coupled with sockets in the excavated cable trench as per the standard practices including loading, unloading, uncoiling and transportation from BSNL designated stores to site of work (Pipes, sockets will be supplied by BSNL at stores at no cost. Length of pipe laid is measured for payment )

DWC pipe laying (Over bridge & Culverts) including clamping/fixing to the railing wall by drilling into RCC (2 Drills per each clamp ) wherever required on the culvert/Over bridge as per directions of Engineer In-charge
