The sample of bored materials at regular interval shall be collected and produced for the verification of the Engineer or his representative at no extra cost. In the event of any dispute about the type of strata bored, the samples so collected shall be referred to an authorised laboratory / agency indentified by the Engineer and the decision of such authorised laboratory / agency is final and binding on both the parties. However the cost of such testing shall be borne by the contractor.
