Providing and constructing "L" shaped Haunching 100mm in wall and 100mm in slab of (size 100mm X 100mm), minimum 15mm thickness at edges using CM 1:3:1 using 6mm downgraded chips admixed with CERA LATEX SBR or approved equivalent @ 1kg per 50kg (1 bag) of cement as specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge in roof joints, terrace corners, gutter junctions, expansion joint area etc.

Operating the Miscellaneous works for unquantified jobs likes removing & fixing doors & windows, shifting materials, cutting and removing materials etc., for department as directed Engineer-in-charge and necessary accessories will be borne by department. Note: If Job is allocated to the contractor he has to engage minimum one skilled man power like Fitter/carpenter/mason under general shift 9.00 to 17.30 hours per day for 1 unit.

Dismantling brick work in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick, admixed with CERA CRYSTALLINE INTEGRAL or approved equivalent at 400gms per bag of cement or equivalent water proofing chemical as approved with ratio as per manufacturer recommendation and including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing repair work to the cracks in joints between plastered wall to column/beam junctions at all locations and at all elevations upto 20 to 30mm deep, upto 200mm wide including preparing the surface, providing and filling the block work beam joints with special cementitious light-weight mortar CERA SEAL CCCP / FOSROC / NITO BOND SBR / SIKA or approved equivalent, providing and applying 20mm thick polymer modified' mortar by mechanically over a coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or approved equivalent and cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’s, fuel & transport etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge and as per the specifications. a) Surface preparation: Chipping and removing the existing plastered wall surfaces to the required depth and surface preparation such as removing the loose materials, dust and other laitance with wire brush and coir brush, etc. complete. b) Joint treatment: Grooves shall be cut along the construction joints on block work/brick work - beam / column joints and the gap shall be treated with (i) SBR Bonding coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or equivalent and (ii) filled the gap with special cementitious light-weight mortar CERA SEAL CCCP / FOSROC / SIKA or approved equivalent. c) Bonding coat on surface: Providing and applying a coat of polymer bonding agent of CERABOND EP / FOSROC / NITO BOND EP / SIKA or approved equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface prior to applying of polymer modified mortar. d) Polymer modified mortar : Applying polymer modified mortar 1:2:2 (1 cement : 2 sand: 2 stone Aggregate of nominal size 6mm) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / FOSROC / NITO BOND SBR / SIKA additive or equivalent @ 3 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 20mm in by mechanically or manually and neatly finished as instructed over the prepared surface / over the fiber glass mesh fixed surface. Note: 1) Scaffolding will be paid in separately in the relevant item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Dismantling old weather proofing materials such as brick bat coba or foam and screed concrete at all levels and cleaning the surface including disposal of rubbish to the dumping yard within 50 metres lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of water proofing treatment using APP membrane in 2 layers using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ or approved equivalent 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ or approved equivalent 4mm thick at highbay area, roof slab top, expansion joint covering, gutter and over the screed concrete area etc., all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: I) Cleaning of existing surface is clean, dry and moisture free and application of one coat of bituminous primer over surface @ 0.3kg/sq.m. and 1st layer of 5-layered 4mm thick polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD P4180' or approved equivalent shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torching on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation. II) The second layer of 5-layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD – SLATED’ or approved equivalent shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. III) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding of water (water holding test) before and after application of treatment in panels. (panels shall be made by least ratio of cement mortar and the same shall be thoroughly cleaned before receiving further treatment). Providing repair work to the surface cracks in plastered wall at all locations and at all elevations upto 20 to 30mm deep, upto 200mm using Polymer modified cement repair mortar including preparing the surface by hacking the surface for better adhesion, providing approved glass fibre mesh reinforcement, applying bond coat, filling/plastering with polymer modified repair mortar in layers using approved polymers, curing, cleaning of floor/windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc., all complete as detailed below as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge. a) Surface Preparation : Preparing the wall surface by chipping of unsound/ weak /loose plaster surface mortar with manual Chisel and/ or by mechanical means at all lifts including cutting/trimming of edges to provide firm vertical faces, making square shoulders of cavities, cleaning the exposed surface to make surface dust free, disposal of debris within 2 Km lead. b) Bond Coat: Applying SBR based bond coat of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill-SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete) or approved equivalent. Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. c) Application of repair mortar: Providing approved glass fibre mesh reinforcement with cement paste before plastering in the surface crack area. d) Building up with polymer modified cement repair mortar of ratio 1:4 (1 part of cement : 4 parts of sand) and adding admixtures in recommended proportion of make MC Bauchemie (Naufufill- SBR) or FOSROC (Nitobond SBR) or FAB Chemical (Mixbond SBR) or Bostik (Boscocem 475) or Ultratech (Xtracrete) or approved equivalent. Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Providing and laying cement based water proofing treatment with a course layer of broken bricks of various sizes to an average thickness of 100mm over a 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand mixed with water proofing compound, plastering the top layer 12mm thick in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, mixed with waterproofing compound, finished smooth with thread marking at 300mm squares (South India water proofing or equivalent, ratio to cement shall as per manufacturer specification or 2% to be adopted) Note: Suitable guarantee for 10 years is to be provided for this work. This work has to be executed as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying Micro Concrete M60 grade for Jacketing of columns / strengthening of Columns and repairs to retrofitting of RCC members / damaged RCC members using non shrink free flow required thickness of ‘'Cera Micro concrete or Fosroc Renderoc RG or approved equivalent’ products as per the manufacturer's specifications, applying epoxy resin bonding agent over the old concrete surface to receive the new concreting using CERA BOND-EP manufactured by CERA CHEM Chemical Ltd., or FOSROC or approved equivalent between old and new concrete surface, Micro concrete mixed with URP plastering of concrete members. The Micro concrete to be mechanically mixed maintaining power: water ratio strictly in accordance with manufacturers specification and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment as specified below to vertical & horizontal surfaces to the required height and bottom of WCs, bathroom, planters, water tanks, raft, lift wall or any other locations as directed, with proper gradient, protective topping suitably finished or keeping rough to receive tiles, surface preparation, injection grouting wherever required using shrinkage compensating plasticizing admixture, pond curing, water tightness testing, etc. complete all as detailed hereinafter including testing for leak-proof ness complete. Note: Water proofing treatment should be done by an agency specialised in the job having sufficient knowledge of water proofing treatment. Suggested vendors : (a) M/s. Cera-Chem Pvt. Layers of water proofing treatment to be done as follows: a) 1st Bonding coat: Providing and applying two coats of bonding slurry agent of CERA LATEX SBR / Pidilite (RBR - SBR) or approved equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface proposition as per manufacturer recommendation. b) Base coat of Polymer modified mortar : Applying polymer modified mortar 1:2:2 (1 cement : 2 sand: 2 stone Aggregate of nominal size 6mm) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / Pidilite (RBR - SBR) / FOSROC NITO BOND SBR or approved equivalent @ 3 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 12mm over the prepared surface. c) Fixing of glass fiber mesh of Gyproc or approved equivalent Alkali resistance Glass fibre mesh (4-5mm square aperture with 145 gsm) fixed in the plastering area as instructed by Engineer-in-charge and fixed as per manufacturer recommendation. d) Second coat of Bonding cum water proofing coat: : Providing and applying tow coats of bonding slurry agent of CERA LATEX SBR / Pidilite (RBR - SBR) or approved equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface proposition as per manufacturer recommendation. e) Top coat of Polymer modified mortar : Applying polymer modified mortar 1:2:2 (1 cement : 2 sand: 2 stone Aggregate of nominal size 6mm) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / Pidilite (RBR - SBR) / FOSROC NITO BOND SBR or approved equivalent @ 3 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 12mm over the prepared surface. The rate includes cleaning the slab surface of all mortar fallings, opening, filling / grouting cracks, injection grouting to RCC surfaces, necessary curing and drying period for each coat as recommended by the manufacturer, providing proper bonding keys in each layer and 75mm vata with above all specified coats on all sides.

Dismantling weather proofing old bitumen felt or App membrane sheets at all levels and cleaning the surface including disposal of rubbish to the dumping yard within 50 metres lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Overall rebate (Optional)

Dismantling of RCC works at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, including Cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing PVC nozzle for grouting by drilling/chipping the concrete surface including removing weathering course/tiles if required, fixing the nozzle, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, fixing injection foam grouting - non returnable packer into the roof slab, gutter, beam junction, bottom of soffit slab up to a depth of 30 mm for grouting purposes and injecting the approved foam grouting components upto the refusal of grouting material as per manufacturer recommendation including cost of injection packer, packer connector and removing the packer after grouting components completion and finished the packer hole with polymer modified mortar including all labour charges and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The consumption of grout material measured for bill is the actual quality of intake during grouting. Wastages during grouting process not considered for measurement.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 3 kilometres but not exceeding 4 kilometres

Arresting of roof leakages by pressure grouting with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound (SBR) including cost of material, grouting with pump and finishing to match with the surface after grouting at all elevations and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: 1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 2) The buildings are of Ground+ 2 storeyed structure and the contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) - 1987. (Safety Code for scaffolds). 3) All working platform must be of minimum 600mm wide, made of M.S pipe and must have guard rails as per specification. 4) Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the repair work is in progress. 5) To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level overhead protection should be provided on the scaffolds. 6) Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building.
