Note:
1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility.
2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.
3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

a) Chipping, grinding and removing all the porous / loose parts, cracked / damaged concrete to the required sound concrete surface, exposing the rods and cleaning any foreign material including removing the rust and loose scales from the exposed reinforcement with wire and coir brushes and cleaning the entire surface by blowing compressed air and / or water jet. etc. complete.
b) Providing and applying epoxy zinc rich primer of CERA ZINC-ZR / NITOZINC from FOSROC / SICA or equivalent in 2 coats to the exposed reinforcement and new reinforcement after doing the necessary surface preparation
c) Providing and applying a coat of polymer bonding agent CERA LATEX SBR / NITOBOND EP from FOSROC / CICA or equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface.
d) Applying polymer modified mortar using 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand) admixed with CERA LATEX SBR / NITO BOND SBR LATEX from FOSROC / CICA additive or equivalent @ 2 kg per bag of cement for a thickness of 25mm by manually over the prepared surface at all locations and all elevations.
Note:
1) Scaffolding work will be paid in separate item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer in charge.
