2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.
3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

The treated area shall be observed for a day.The process shall be repeated if the leakage points shift to other location.

Providing Post construction anti termite treatment detailed below including cost of chemical labour and all other incidental charges drilling holes along the internal walls of the building at all the junction of walls and floor and entire floor area at an interval of 300mm on both sides and to a depth of 500mm on the entire ground floor area of each buildings and injecting termite(Durmat/Durspan) emulsion at the ratio of 1:19( 1 part of the chemical and 19 part of the water ) so as to soak the soil below at 5 litres per linear metre on the sides of the walls and until refusal. care shall be taken to seal the holes after treatment with white cement . Also the soil in contract with the foundation along the external perimeter of the building (i.e in between wall and plinth protection) shall be treated with the chemical emulsion at 5 litres per linear meter to faciliate the treatment, holes shall be made at 150mm apart with long Ibar or crowbar close to the wall face shall be extebded upto a depth of 50mm and the chemical emulsion pumped in to these holes to spread to the soil below.

Providing water proofing treatment to the RCC cast insitu terrace and gutters using ‘CERA WP SHIELD P4180’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED’ 4mm thick as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
a ) The surface shall be cleaned thoroughly with wire brush and light chisels for making the surface free from existing bitumen primer, dust and other laittance etc."V" grooves shall be cut along the construction joints on wall- slab joints and filled with cement - sand mortar admixed with styrene butadiene rubber based additive "CERA LATEX SBR".
b) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding water in panels. Incase of any leaks found, Foam grouting shall be done with contractor cost.
c) When the entire surface is clean, dry and moisture free, one coat of bituminous primer shall be applied over surface @ 0.3kg/sq.m. and 1st layer of 5-layered 4mm thick polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD P4180' shall be laid with 200mm overlapping by torch on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation.
d) The second layer of 5-layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane 'CERA WP SHIELD – SLATED’ shall be laid with 150mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturer's recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. Note i) The treatment should be done by an agency specialised in the job having sufficient knowledge of water proofing treatment. Suggested vendors : (1) M/s. Cera-Chem Pvt. Ltd., Chemicals (2) M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. Chemicals.
ii) Ten years guarantee shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed form of the department for the above water proofing treatment works.
iii) The work described above is to be executed at a height of 20.0m and necessary lifting arrangements for material and men movement should be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.
iv) All necessay safety permits should be obtained from IGCAR safety division as admissible.
