Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 2 kilometre but not exceeding 3 kilometre

Levelling, bull-dozing the heeped / dumped loosened earth / debris etc., by hiring JCB / Bull-dozer etc., including transporting, operating the vehicle, operating the vehicle by engaging driver/operator with valid driving license, diesel charges, insurance and admissible taxes, labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture conforming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

M30 grade with 370 kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete for all floors

Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast units of various patterns and sizes for precast plain solid units, slabs, exhaust fan moulds etc., in reinforced cement concrete of 1:2:4, using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork & moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department. Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.

Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetration etc. using MS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, sag rod, square sections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Supplying and fixing in position of heavy quality Cast Iron manhole frame and cover, steps etc of specified weight for the inspection chamber, valve chamber etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing bolts including nuts and washers of approved size, quality and make as per requirements as per specifications and drawings complete all as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:6 using crushed stone sand including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing complete as per specifications and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. for the following floors.

for Basement and Ground Floor

Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick in two coats including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Construction of Inspection chamber of following size internally upto 1.00metre depth with brick masonry walls of 230/345mm thick using stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand with necessary brick carbelling as required, plastering with cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement inside chamber and with cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick for external sides of the chamber including excavation in all types of soils, back filling, providing and laying 150mm thick PCC 1:4.5:8 using 40mm size granite aggregates and crushed stone sand for foundation concrete forming benching in PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregate and using crushed stone sand etc. complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Extra depth over initial depth of 1 metre or part of a metre depth with necessary modification to the thickness of chamber wall to suit site requirement as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of Inspection chamber of size 600x600mm

Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2.00 metres apart for foundation, basement and in superstructure, compound/boundary walls, including sizing of stones if required, raking out joints, scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts.

Providing Flush pointing over the random rubble masonry wall with cement mortar 1:3 at all levels including scaffolding, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling Plain Cement concrete by manually / by mechanical means at all levels, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including disposal of debris with 50m lead, labour, tools required etc. complete in all respects as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of RCC works at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, including Cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling brick work in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing Stone rubble masonry in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying the following sizes PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6 kg/sq.cm pressure and specials conforming & marked to IS:4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reducers, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tail pieces, caps etc., and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Operating the VNC pumps, Sewage submersible pumps, Monoblock pumps, Sludge pumps, De watering pumps, Rotors and valves etc., in the Sewage Treatment plant and Lift station including cleaning and removing the floating objects from screen cum suction well, inlet chamber, influent chamber, oxidation ditch, settling tank, chlorination chamber and oxidation pond etc., including cleaning of the bar screens , removing of dried sludge from sludge drying beds, operation of slurry pumps and valves for recycling sludge, and balling out sewage water from the letting out effluent etc..,complete in the sewage treatment plant / sewage lift station of IGCAR and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Contractor has to engage a minimum 2nos. of operators in each shift every day throughout the year including holidays (Timing of shifts - General shift 9:00 hours to 17:30 hours ; 1st shift 6:00 hours to 14:00 hours ; 2nd shift 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours; 3rd shift 22:00 hours to 6:00 hours). If any short fall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1.00 job / operator / day shall be deducted from the RA bills.

Maintenance of all types of pumps and rotors and keeping all the machineries in good working condition including rectifying the problems arising in those machineries, with use of lubricating oil and grease for the moving parts of the pumps, rotors and vertical drive shafts at sewage treatment plant and sewage lift station and other connected works involving operation and day to day cleaning of pumps and rotors etc. Note: 1) Contractor has to engage a minimum of 1 no. ISI certified mechanic in general shift every day throughout the year including holidays (Timing of General shift 9:00 hours - 17:30 hours). If any short fall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1 job / mechanic / day shall be deducted from the RA bills. 2) Lubricating oil and grease will be paid under relevant item.

Supply and lubricate with ‘Veedol or approved equivalent’ Reduction gear box oil (lubricating oil) all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and lubricate with ‘Castrol or approved equivalent’ Grease all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing the choke and cleaning the sewer lines of 100mm to 300mm Dia stone ware / CI pipes including opening the CI manholes cover of the chamber, inserting sewer cleaning rod through one chamber, and removing at the other chamber, collecting and disposing the chocked materials like root, grit, sand etc., including cleaning the chamber, gully and pipes, general cleaning of the shaft area of the building s etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

De-silting the grit in sewage lift station and treatment plant for following including providing clay dummy in the incoming branches of sewer line inside man hole for arresting incoming sewage, cleaning the central platform and MS gratings, removing the grit along with sewage manually and disposing off in an excavated pit about 200 meters away from the site of work by head load, including excavation of pit, refilling the pit after use, operation of the pump to lower the sewage level, supply of materials such as coconut oil, soap, bucket, rope, scaffolding with pulley arrangement etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and disposing the good quality of bleaching powder in the drinking water / let out treated sewage effluents for the purpose of disinfections at Sump / Sewage treatment plant or places as directed, including cost of bleaching powder, transport and required man power for dosing etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Prior approval shall be obtained from the Engineer-in-Charge by producing samples regarding quality and brand before procurement.

Lifting & Transporting the Liquefied sludge from Sewer chambers / Septic tanks in various locations inside DAE complex / DAE Townships to IGCAR STP including loading the sludge and unloading by using tanker lorry and disposing through mechanical means and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including all tools & Equipments .(The rate shall include the cost of hire charges for tanker/Lorry and crew and required tools and equipment etc.)

Removing the existing Filter media materials in PSF & ACF and transporting the same to dumping yard all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Supplying and filling the following filter media materials in Pressure Sand Filter and Activated carbon filter at Sewage Treatment plant, including transporting materials, loading, unloading, labour, etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note: The material shall be supplied by authorized agency only. Prior approval shall be obtained from the Engineer-in-charge by producing samples regarding quality and brand before procurement.

The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate as mentioned in specification will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m /day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. Cutting plants should be handed over to nursery for sampling by the contractor as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 8. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours.

Bharatbijilee or Kirloskar or Crompton Greaves or equivalent make motor 5 HP / 3.75 KW, 2900 RPM, 3 phase AC supply 415 volts with Johnson pump coupled for removing the sewage sludge water including assembling and connecting the shaft of the motor and input shaft of the pump by adaptor couplings, erection, aligning, testing and commissioning, etc. complete for smooth operation and inclusive of chipping the masonry / RC concrete if necessary or making pockets for foundation bolts, grouting of bolt holes with cement concrete, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
