Fine aggregate used shall be either natural river sand or crushed (with VSI technology only and should be washed in water to remove finer articles, the micro fines of size less than 75 microns shall be less than 7%) (Zone I/II) conforming to IS 383-2016. Coarse aggregate used should be hard granite machine crushed (with VSI technology only) graded stone aggregates with maximum size of aggregate not exceeding 20 mm size. Fine aggregate used shall be either natural river sand or crushed stone sand (with VSI technology only and shall be washed in water to remove finer particles, the micro fines particles of size less than 75 micron should be less than 7%) (Zone I /II) conforming to IS 383 – 2016. Note: 1) The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility. 2) Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3) The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete.
